tfw permanently sad
at least i got a job that keeps me active and lets me buy guitars and talk to ppl

See a medical professional.

i know we're supposed to use kaka in our playing if we expect to be any good, but i farted a kaka log out of my stinky butt and, although it smelled like kaka, it didn't make my playing any better.

is there anything else i'm supposed to do with the defecation that i squench from my kakahole? please understand that my kaka stinks.

You have no reason to be

Says Dean on the headstock

Guys, if you go from single coils to a humbucker, do you need different pots? I vaguely remember something about this from years ago when I first looked into it.

250k for single coils
500k for humbuckers
25k for actives
1k for absolute madmen

always remember to have two knobs for every pickup. any other configuration is heresy. if you are a heretic and have two pickups and two knobs, get out your drill or buy concentric pots.

Dean USA is good but you have better options at the price point

how much should invest into my first guitar

>1k for absolute madmen
explain this meme for a pleb pls

so what

I'd say at least a couple hundred. You'll get a better guitar and the more you spend the more invested you be because you want to make the purchase worth it. Also I'd get something used because you'll get something way better for less simply because someone else owned it before you. You can find brand new guitars that are $300 cheaper because you weren't the first one to own it

100 at most

$500 for the guitar and $200-500 for the amp and speaker if not poor

this is both standard kit for beginners and gig-worthy so upgrading is just personal preference and not a future necessity. a good setup is worth more than a new guitar 88% of the time. bear in mind good instruments aren't cheap. the tolerances involved in having a pleasantly playable one are very small.

$100 each if poor

1k pots are hella bright

The most important part is to get something that makes you excited to play. Something that makes you want to get up and play it,

>hella bright
thanks senpai

>guitar finds itself out of tune
>only two strings are out
>both are sharp

Did it get bumped or what

What is the second most likely brand of guitar to be owned by an illegal alien behind Dean?

Attached: yuzuquestion.jpg (396x505, 193K)

Ibanez is probably first followed by jackson

>i-i-it's n-n-not D-D-D-Dean, r-r-really!
>says the illegal

Attached: 1547268492110.jpg (550x390, 108K)

1k volume pots and no load tone pots a best. A BEST! Think about it logically. Tone knobs can't add treble; they can only subtract treble. Thus, logically, it's best to have as much treble available to the signal as possible. Want less treble? Just roll the tone knob off. 1k volume pots and no load tone pots give you the widest available tonal range and are therefore logically the best choices.

>more automatically means better
This is how everyone knows you're a nigger

REMEMBER TO REPORT JCUM FOR BAN EVASION ON EVERY POST

Attached: 30A78A5F-D5F1-4248-BEC8-A9ED001BAA77.jpg (1125x789, 367K)

Yes, more tonal range is better. Dark sounding amps are a thing that exist, as are dark sounding PA systems.

You mean 1000k?

If you used them with actives the results would be ass and actives are already difficult to set up and use between their combination of sensitivity and the fact they're actually very weak pickups behind an amplifier

Why? Is he getting to you?

Made in Vietnam is absolute shit tier

I meant 1M pots. I knew what I meant.

HIDING AND EVADING FILTERS BECAUSE YOURE LONELY IS AN OFFENSE JCUM.

Just remove the tone control all together

Imagine being so bad at producing bleep on your ableton live knockoff you have to shame people who know instruments to make yourself feel better. Faggot.

>he has manlet feet and can't afford a Gibson

Attached: 1537473817719.jpg (509x479, 122K)

That would make the guitar less versatile. The point here is making it more versatile. Plus, a no load tone pot on 10 is the same as no tone pot.
Now, removing the volume control altogether will get you a miniscule, likely inaudible amount of extra treble compared to a 1M volume pot, at the expense of the ability to control volume with your guitar. This would make the guitar less versatile and is not advisable.

Older guitars are magical things that are both worse and more expensive.

Are you talking about volume or tone? Removing the volume control would have no effect on tone.

B-but magical aging properties that make it sound better because of voodoo!

>Removing the volume control would have no effect on tone.
No, that's wrong. Even a 1M volume pot on 10 restricts the treble a little bit compared to no volume pot. I'm not wrong on this. You need to get learned and do more research.

no

THE MYSTERY THE SUSPENSE

>he doesn't just use only an on/off toggle on his guitar

Yes. You have no fucking idea how a guitar or electronics works. I will educate you now.
A 250k pot sends a lot of high frequencies to ground. This is why they're commonly used with single coil pickups.
A 500k pot sends less high frequencies to ground than a 250k pot. This is why they're commonly used with humbucker pickups.
The higher resistance of the volume pot, the less high frequencies are sent to ground.
When you remove the volume pot, NONE of the high frequencies are being sent to ground. Thus, you're getting the full signal from the pickups.
Even a 1M pot on 10 still sends a little bit of high frequencies to ground. This is probably inaudibly different from no volume pot, but it's a measurable difference.
The difference between no volume pot and a 500k pot on 10 or especially a 250k pot on 10 will be easily audible.

t. has no idea how electronics works

The capacitor is what effects tone

this guy is right
this is a samefag who is trolling
t.luthier

capacitor and resistor types don't affect tone, only value

Cap/resistor values do NOT affect the tone of a volume knob on 10. They DO affect the tone of a volume knob as it rolls down from 10. That's how treble bleeds work.

capacitor only affects tone when the tone knob isnt on 10

First edge rolled. Came out decent. Compare first fret to the second fret

Attached: 15569400966044529989270049304425.jpg (4160x3120, 2.99M)

then whats the point of upgrading to expensive boutique caps like oil, ceramic cts and other bullshit ?

caps don't affect the tone of a volume knob period because caps aren't on volume knobs. If they were, it would be a tone knob.

>effects
Its affects you fucking mindless ape

Attached: 1413494464857.gif (277x202, 1.96M)

Voodoo magic. Snake oil. Making snake oil salesmen rich. The guitar world is full of this shit, as is the audiophile world if you ever get into that shit.
The component materials aren't important; the values are. Get the values right and you can have an audibly flat frequency response as you roll down the volume knob. This will require a lot of research and will essentially depend on what pickups you have.

So it csn be more gradual and subtle and some swear it colors the tone depending on the cap. But like an user said that only comes to play when its not on 10. Good caps have more range than shit caps in terms of rolling off the volume or tone knob

Dont tell me your dumbass thinks its finished. I obviously need to fine sand it.

>because caps aren't on volume knobs
My statement was not incorrect. Read it again.
A treble bleed circuit, by definition, involves a cap wired to the volume pot.

The materials are important. Electronics aren't flawless magic.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceramic_capacitor#Voltage_dependence_of_capacitance

any recs of decent sub-$200 guitar amps? it would be my first amp, ive just been using rocksmith as a workaround for a couple months and i hate it. looking at the vox mini5 pretty seriously

Katana

>This behavior is a small source of nonlinearity in low-distortion filters and other analog applications. In audio applications this can be the reason for harmonic distortions.
>small source
Your own source showed that it's voodoo magic and snake oil, exactly as I said.

i think my hesitation was this in the back of my head..

>small source, relevant to its normal use in electronics (ie: it would not really matter for an alarm clock)
>creates harmonic distortions in audio

Did you read

zerocapcable.com/?page_id=224
>The data and sound clips above show clearly that for tone capacitors of close measured capacitance value there is no difference in tone.
Objective data and subjective analysis both show no difference between different materials and similar values.
officially BTFO and REKT

>This dependency on capacitance value alone is EXACTLY what any trained electrical engineer would expect.
Yep. Exactly.

Im showing the "roll". Thats why i said compare. The shape is different at the edge.

grammartards btfo

the proliferation of shit like $20 effects pedals, $300 guitars, and $200 amps that sound as good as, and sometimes better than the "real" thing have encouraged a massive amount of innovation in the boutique industry so you often are actually getting something as special as the price implies, unlike the 80s, where you had cheap SHIT, and everything else was okay. you can get stuff that would be considered touring worthy last century for chump change today.

only the "authentic vintage designs and materials!" segment of the market is a true rip off. you pay a fuckload for no noticeable, or measurable, difference that could be attributed to how vintage it is rather than normal variance between any two chunks of wood, same species, same tree, same drying kiln, sanded first or last with the same piece of paper, or no.

and despite that the proliferation of digital audio processing is on the verge of completely killing the boutique pedal industry and possibly a good chunk of the amp and pickup industries - thank god. who needs a red panda particle and a dark world when you have a cheap thinkpad.

Why didn't you just use sandpaper to begin with?

Change the way you practice if you feel like you are perpetually bad.
What are you working on at the moment? Maybe I can help you make a practice routine.

>when they know they've lost the argument

In the world of audio, panicky talk about harmonic distortion is usually, not always, but usually placeboey, inaudible snake oil bullshit.

I used a rasp file and then hit it with 220 grit paper. Im finishing it with 1500 grit dry.

Tube distortion is some real shit

But it is fully understand and entirely possible to replicate so today is most likely the last hoorah of tubes. Buy your $250 orange terrors while you can, in 10 years tubes will be boutique shit for nutters like diamond plated cables.

tldr low pass filter

>tfw get addicted to krokodil 20 years down the line and sell my jcm900 for 10k and die in a krokodil induced hell

>Implying China won't capitalize on the legendary status of the thermionic valve and shit out cheap tube equipment so fast that tubes will be cheaper than solid state equipment that sounds exactly like them

In ten years men will be euthanized and guitars will be burned on top of a pile of books.

This is the discord tranny endgame.

>where is Orange terror being made now

*in ten years you will be re-educated by the state for playing an instrument of non-aryan origin

That's a $250 orange terror.

I mean, they're coming close already. There's that Monoprice tube amp.

Im under the impression that thw orange amp you said is a hybrid amp no?

Valvestate is okay actually, now that solid state sounds good the tubes are just a marketing gimmick

I'd still prefer solid state reliability. You will probably never need to replace a part in your solid state amp. Your solid state amp will probably never cease functioning when you go over a pothole a little too fast on your way to the gig.

Capitalism has its perks for sure.

I remember seeing a show in the early 2000's where the guitarist's Twin Reverb died mid-set. The band that played before him was still there and they had a Line 6 modeling amp that they let him borrow to finish his set. Dude literally set it to a Twin Reverb preset, set the tone knobs to where his Twin was and started playing, and it literally didn't sound any different than the real thing. That was in the early 2000's; modeling has come a long way since then.
Tubes are such a fucking meme.

But if you already fell for the meme it'll be worth some money if it's a brand name.

Tube amps literally never get cheaper.

I bet you're a tranny.

Are tone nobs a meme?
I play jazz and always leave my tone at 10 and then EQ my signal accordingly. I've always found this works better than using the tone nob for EQ. Rolling off tone makes my guitar sound like a muddy piece of shit.

>plays jazz
>tone isn't a muddy piece of shit
You're a fucking unicorn.

why would you bother doing this to a squire neck?

Heh.
Well I lower the fuck outta my trebles in EQ so I probably would sound muddy to you.

plywood is the best tone wood

if it has too much tone for you they make a convenient knob just for that purpose

No im a chinese late teen in hopes of meeting a honorable husband through the province matchmaker

Plywood is unironically great for gigging guitars. Alternating wood grains = less susceptibility to temperature and humidity-induced tuning problems.

If only some reputable company would figure this out and make some damn good plywood built to last a lifetime instead of alternating sheets of cheap pine built to keep materials costs under $100

In the market for a new amp, looking for something high gain that can still do cleans in the $300 range
Things I have scoped out
-Vox AV30
-Boss Katana 50W
-Peavey Valveking 112
Help Yea Forums what would you get? I play mostly Alice in Chains, Ozzy (w/ randy rhoads), and some SRV. Would I be better off sticking with my fender frontman 15 and saving up for a couple of months? Currently leaning towards the Vox, primarily just play at home, jam with some friends every now and again.
Open to suggestions

I know that feel. I'm probably gonna quit playing soon. I can't write anything good.

Most people who can't play for shit use the cleanest tone possible and then a shitload of effects. It's called shoegaze.

The opposite, very few to no effects and high gain, is known for highly skilled technical players that wank harder than a berkley music theory professor. It's called metal.

>shoegaze
>clean
maybe garbage nu shoegaze like Slowdive

High gain is for "highly skilled," "technical" players like Herman Li who are sloppy as shit and need the high gain to mask it. Players like you.

talking about electric guitar by the way

I haven’t played an electric guitar in over a year or so bcuz as soon as I plug it in and get some pedals I stop playing music and start playing with the signal until it’s a broken mess and then I buy broken shit on purpose to get even weirder sounds until I’m literally playing 1-2 notes and bending for an entire “song” in what is effectively shitty psychedelic electro with a guitar instead of a midi for inputs

Am I just retarded?

Depends on the guitar. iirc most licensed floyd rose are interchangeable with the original parts.

Or do you mean you want to block the trem, so you can easily switch tunings. If so all you would need is this. basically turns your guitar into a hardtail.

I've owned a several Gibsons over the years. You're completely delusional if you think they're worth even half of their sales price.

Buy Heritage guitars then.

Made in the old Kalamazoo factory by Gibson workers who didn't want to move to Nashville.

They're everything Gibson should be - well made and finished, with things that Gibson abandoned long ago to save a few dollars like one piece mahogany bodies.

I only have one guitar, an Epiphone special I bought for $200 7 years ago, and it still kicks ass. I've tried plenty of Gibson's guitars and they're all amazing. Never understood why people like you seethe over them.

I would like a tremolo for the guitar just not a floyd rose is there a non floyd rose tremolo that would fit on the posts already drilled into the guitar?

The tremol-no lets you use it as a dive only trem.

so with a tremol no i can take off the locking nut and i wouldnt have to tune with the pins on the floyd rose but with the machine heads on the headstock?

Just buy a Strat perhaps? Lots of copies out there that have a regular non-floyd trem. Regardless of what trem you go with though you'll encounter setup issues when changing tunings so 95% of the time its easier to just buy a fixed bridge model guitar to begin with for that type of stuff

yeah pretty much.

thanks I'll look into it

based. I still have mine though I am soon giving it to my brother in law

Delta Blues/American primitivism I suppose

I'm only just learning the notes on the fretboard now lads, why didn't I start this earlier.

Any advanced guitar chads in here?
How difficult do you think this is to play?

Tabs in the attached pic.

I thought i was an intermediate player but the quick changes with the different chord shapes and especially that pull off/hammer on section are kinda killing me.

who are the fender strats of acoustics

Just bought a Special II a week ago, pretty excited to use something better than the IAXE I tried learning with in high school

i play with more attack and confidence than everyone else

help me decide between an electric v acoustic first

what kind of music do you like

K-Pop

Techno

I like the sound of acoustic but as far as songs go I listen to a lot both, mainly electric I guess.
Indie, Bedroom Pop, Power Metal etc etc but some different examples from what I listened to the last few days.
Nirvana
Mac Demarco
Brian Jonestown Massacre
The Stooges
Twisted Sister
Motley Crue
Ratt
Vance Joy
Sonic Youth
Current Joys

I'm pretty sure the answer is electric but something about the fullness and the feel of the sound of acoustic just attracts me so maybe thats something to try later on.

Also if electric, idk if I should be SSS/HSS/HH for a broad range like those listed.

Most of my guitar friends and myself are usually too lazy to plug in the e-guitar and fire up the amp to play/practise so we all just have acoustic guitars next to our beds that are easy to pick up and play whenever you want. I wish i would play e-guitar more often but it's not that fun if you can't go all out and i live in a shitty apartment so i just stick to acoustic.

yea id only be a bedroom player anyway

sounds like you and your friends like to butt-fuck each other

>Electric
Can never go wrong with Guthrie, absolute legend, though I don't listen to much of his music, so I'd say a tossup between Jerry Cantrell and Stevie Ray Vaughan
>Acoustic
I prefer classical to steel string
Ana Vidovic
>Bass
Mike Starr without a doubt. John Paul Jones close behind

How can you be too lazy to do something that takes 3 seconds

>.

wheres the upvote button? i want to give your opinion so validity

Getting this bass used for ~200 bucks, am I making a bad choice Yea Forums?

>acoustic
acoustic is gay so no one.

>bass
Ballsack TimpleTits. Used to play for Peenus Weenus back in the 90s before he overdosed huffing jenkum

This is nothing, just learn the chord shapes individually first until they come natural. How long have you been practicing this?

do i need an actual amp if im only a bedroom player? i know i could learn unplugged but it sounds shit so do i just get one of those amplug headphone things or an actual amp even though its going to be low volume?

Question. How much time do you spend daily playing the guitar?
I don't need an exact figure, an aproximation is ok

>Return
are you an actual retard? just do what you want

depends, usually about 1 hour but I also use my guitar as a sexual partner so that adds some extra time to it

I get about 20 minutes a day in, either just before I head to school/work or just before I sleep. Usually I play anywhere from 10 mins to an hour but I'd say the average is 20 min

no

yes

if you spend anything over 70 dollars on a bass you're getting ass raped

well shit

Idiotbox is always doing some May 4th Star Wars related deal I missed out last year on the Holy Trooper but now they're making a tube screamer/muff/rat pedal

What genres are you planning on playing m8?
Nice bait

I'm building a klon and the materials came to about $60 despite me buying too many 1n34a diodes, rare discontinued caps with funky values, and a pre-finished PCB.

if you were building these in bulk you could probably get materials well below $50 a pedal. Since circuits can't be patented, why hasn't china made a 1:1 klon clone instead of cheapened ones.

A one piece body doesn't affect tone or sustain, it just wastes expensive wood. Not really rare though because various industries already logged so much of it that commercial sources are nearing 100% plantation grown.

Can't really say the same about ebony and rosewood though.

Kek that's exactly the one.

Can someone shop the guitar pink and put anime eyes on it for me?

heavy stuff for the most part, Alice in Chains, which Is why I opted for the active to be able to get that gritty sound, but also be relatively clean when I need to be, this is my first bass though so I might be talking out of my ass completely

>has anime girl hands
>doesn't know theoretical max sustain and volume are functions of string tension
>doesn't know pickup volume is affected by more massive strings
>doesn't know heavier strings are more dynamic since they require a stronger attack to vibrate at the same volume

tldr play 14s

Mate I hate to say this but metal is shit for bass and you won't develop as a bassist if you stick to it so I wouldn't limit yourself to metal, look into funk and jazz. Make sure you don't just turn into a root note pleb if you're going to play metal.

That being said I'm sure the Omen is a fine bass, active basses have more control of the EQ and you can get some nice sounds from them.

Did SRV have anime girl hands because his stupidly thick strings tore his fingers up and forced him to put superglue on them?
Your vibrato is shit if you can't coax infinite sustain out of Billy Gibbons .007's.

Because they charge about twice what fender does and gives you the same quality now that the mid 20th century is over and you can get fenders with crazy features like humbucking pickups, good neck joints out of the factory, and necks made from boards instead of baseball bats. Since features have evened out between all the major brands all people see when they see gibson is:
A shitty headstock design that demands a special snowflake nut that isn't factory equipment on all guitars
A history of QC issues that even squire would be ashamed of
Heavy as shit
Guitars that cost as much to repair as they are worth in good condition if bought used, and so are better off scrapped and replaced
Costing $2200 when the 1-to-1 equivalent by fender costs $1200 and still has a neck you can replace

And move away from fender and you'll get bolt on neck joints that aren't bricks and 12"+ radiuses as standard instead of snowflake

Mind you what they charge is not a lot of money. Guitars remain cheap instruments with the highest of the high end brand new hand made from a solid piece of nephilim bone guitars costing only a little more than entry level pianos ($10k! oh wow! instruments are so expensive!). They only get actually expensive when they're collectibles.

How I suppose to finger the chord:
--2
--3
--4
--5
--5
--2
When I try to put my pinky accross the two 5s it just mutes the rest of the strings. I think it's an augmented F# chord with an added 13th?

I do quite like those genres, Steely Dan type stuff if that counts, my question then becomes, would an active bass be suitable for that kind of thing? or are they too harsh

Nevermind I did it.
I AM A FUCKING WIZARD FEAR ME

HOW

>Not spending twice as much to get an inferior product

How do you expect Yea Forums to believe you have a job?

it tilts the hand or it mutes the strings again

For me it's the esquire

I'll take the most expensive boomer guitar so I can sell it and put the funds towards a good one.

>his guitar has string trees/retainers
Ahahahaha, was that thing built in 1850? I bet it has catgut strings and only three saddles, too.
I bet you play it through a tube amp, too.

It has staggered tuners and I like my tube because even at $1800 a kemper doesn't sound exactly the same at volumes below 90db. Nobody bothers to model that old broken radio sound of practice EQ.

i just started and im almost 30 time to become the next interpol

>staggered tuners
Doing it right.
>tube
Doing it wrong.
>practicing plugged in
Doing it really, really wrong. Practicing unplugged makes you a better player. It forces you to use interesting note choices and phrases to make the otherwise plain sound of your instrument sound interesting and compelling, and it forces you to rely on technique for sustain instead of gear.

I have exactly that one too but the pickups died so I put the EMG passive hzh1 set in them and it sounds fucking fantastic

>rely on technique for sustain

My guitar is set up with a low action so it sounds like buzzy shit unplugged. It's not audible, but it might color the tone and reduce sustain veeeeeery slightly.

>tube
>doing it wrong
What would you recommend over a $200 tube amp? A $200 boss katana? I don't even like effects except for delay.

>I like tubes because solid state just doesn't sound terrible enough at low volumes
Tubes in a nutshell.

Solid state often sounds worse at low volumes until you start spending I NEED PRO EQUIPMENT FOR MAH GIGS money and I'm a bedroom player so that money can go into a retirement fund

>My guitar is set up with a low action

Attached: 1552693440578.jpg (599x605, 155K)

Electric guitar+the amp is the instrument and if you're not compromising acoustic quality and playing a rattly guitar just so you can fret faster you should just buy an acoustic

But wait, acoustics have heavier strings and are harder to fret, and....

Imagine thinking a 9 pound Les Paul is heavy lmao

Attached: 0sayaka.jpg (2249x3000, 572K)

>he needs low action as a crutch to play fast and cleanly
Never gonna make it.
The best players are masters of all techniques, including string bending, which is rather severely hampered by low action. You're gimping your expressive capability because you require a crutch.

>low action is bad it makes playing guitar too easy
>heavy strings are bad it makes playing guitar too hard

Bending isn't hampered by low action by the way, that's because you're playing a fender.

The EQ/tone knobs on a passive will just cut the signal, so reduce the bass/mid/treble. On an active it can cut and boost the signal, so you can add more bass/mid/treble. You can obviously change these settings on the amp but having the controls on the bass adds another dimension and you can fiddle.

youtube.com/watch?v=fy0m5fWXc7g&t=368s

I think they look at the Omen on this vid

>Bending isn't hampered by low action by the way
It is, unless you take corrective measures which limit the scope of your right hand technique.
Low action means your fingers end up on top of neighboring strings when you bend. At this point you have two choices:
- Let the neighboring string ring out, which is gonna sound real bad;
- Mute the neighboring string with your pick hand.
If you're constantly having to mute strings with your pick hand to compensate for your low action when you bend strings, you're limiting the scope of techniques your pick hand is capable of while you bend strings.

Why don’t you two faggot settle this with a bend off?

Hitting adjacent strings on full bends is happens with all actions and it makes a noise no matter what so you mute it with your left hand

One finger bends, one finger motes, the other two do whatever. Use more fingers if you're a wimp.

is there a problem if i play with a humongous amount of attack

i'm so drained into my job that i dont even know what to do with my weekends anymore and just lay around on the couches and sleep and shitpost

i wanted to see a whore today so i could figure whats it like to be in bed with a woman but i couldnt bother to shower

i dont even bother playing guitar anymore because i can't finish a song with the little riffs and themes that i come up with, and i can't write lyrics for them either because i'm a mentally ill virgin loser

i can bend with one finger because i'm an alpha

even forgot pic

i can play with so much attack you wouldnt believe it

nah you should record that, give it some structure/buildup/denouement and then make an album of like 20-30 minute semi-ambient songs

This, seeing all the Gibson fags crying about 10 pound guitars makes me laugh. My tele is 10 pounds and my bass is 11, it's not fucking heavy at all and I'm a 125 pound 5'10" twig. I'm surprised they aren't getting all excited about more """tonewood"""

practising? 0-10 minutes

desu the problem is the fast h/o p/o section.
the chords are easy on e-guitar but difficult on classical

i'm almost sure this happens on like 50% of all their sold guitars.
happened to my mom's shortscale bass too

>strat

into the trash it goes

You are part of the problem

But it's cheap?

Jesus, that's one ugly, mismatched guitar.

is £480 on a mim strat too much for a first guitar?
should I just buy a squier/yamaha?

what kind of idiot retard hits other strings when bending? just learn to play the guitar retards.

Remember where you are.

yeah just buy anything, go to a shop and see if you like it in your hands, if you like how it looks, and buy it, you wont notice difference between any of the guitars, its all just personal feelings

it seems to be like the cables inside are broken off from somewhere partly, as it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. maybe shipping is the issue.

just wanna get this sorted out and in the future buy any guitars from a guitar shop locally.

Probably bad soldering. Fix it yourself.
