it sounds really empty and directionless with bad production choices but the closer is good

Year Zero is far more electronic, only song that sounds like it has that With Teeth sound is Beginning Of The End, the rest has far more of a noisier sound with an entirely different concept.
Ghosts is a purely instrumental album, a lot of experimental ambient work
The Slip experiments with garagey sound, bringing a raw sound to the band, it also takes some notes from Ghosts, its second half of the album being far more ambient and experimental.
Hesitation Marks is the least "rock" NIN album has ever been, going for more of a subtle and subdued sound with heavy focus on drum machines.
The Trilogy is all over the place, Bad Witch seems like a new territory for the band all together.
