Is the "grips" in Death Grips a verb or a noun?
Like is it saying the band members are the grips of death or does it point out death grips people?

Latter seems more probable.
>it's Death Grips
noun
It is a noun because it is the name of a band. But it refers to a verb, as in having a death grip on your dick.
Death grips black paint
It comes from “The Grip of Death,” but “Deaths Grip” doesn’t sound as good as “Death Grips.” Interestingly, for the youtube upload of Black Paint they had a picture of a cloaked figure holding a bag of dripping black paint, making the photo literally “Death grips black paint”

HOL UP
that's the Orphic Egg from ancient Greece...
Life Kicks (...butt that is!)
what makes an egg orphic?
huh, I thought it came from death grip syndrome
snake
To be fair, they haven’t officially stated that that book inspired them, but the fact that it’s aligned with their politics, uses a similar phrase to the band name, and the Orphic egg symbol they use makes it seem likely
The Orphic egg hatched the first Greek gods and it has a snake wrapped around it
>come across dg "fan" in the wild
>all they do is literally meme
>the band is a big joke to them
>"YUH" "IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES" "le homeless man"
I fucking despise these people. The best band of the 21st century deserved a better fanbase.
What are their politics?
Their not even that good.
extreme liberals
Anybody else in regular disbelief of how good The Fear is?
ie: rational.
was it better than bp?
they all have a serious case of no gf
Name a better band
Being better than bp is not that hard.
Christian and the Hedgehog Boys

it can be both depending on the context
