I gotta feeling you're more of an intellectual than myself.

Listening through Swans' discog slowly and both Greed and Holy Money are really underrated desu

probably Jeffery, with Barter 6 very close 2nd

I love how normies listen to Rome unsuspectingly

>Stephan Micus
I like what I've heard of him, but I don't really enjoy his vocals. Making up fake words just seems kind of cheesy in comparison to his instrumentals.

i know no one else on here listens to Jesse Stewart but he's good
you should be in school right now
very based what is your favourite zappa album and/or favourite faure piece
what is your favourite weed strain?

Attached: april.png (768x380, 431K)

yea I like him but this 'exploring different cultures and experiences' would work much better if the music was actually very different
mos of his releases sound the same
only in it for the money tied with sheik yerbouti
piano quintet 2

*tips le nazi hat*

Rome aren't Nazis silly

Who stephan micus

varg used to look so cute what happened

I'm actually wearing my magician hat, okay

>Who stephan micus
are you trying to make a pun or is this a legit question

no shit. the gatekeeping nazi I replied to probably thinks otherwise

>Rome aren't Nazis
You're one of those types that differentiates "identitarians" from Nazis, aren't you?

I think it's less about exploring different cultures than the instruments themselves. He said in an interview that, after he's learned to play an instrument the traditional way he sits down and tries to "unlearn" all of it and make music he feels fits with the instrument.
Which I think is kind of cool - though he has his specific style that can get kind of samey after a while. If he just played traditional tunes or adopted all the traditional playstyles it could easily come off as some sort of romanticized post-colonial new age mish-mash.

mostly this

Are you Australian?

i listened to music i guess

Did you like the new Chemical Brothers album? I usually find their songs annoying but i found No Geography to be pretty good.
Nice taste. Last.fm always has the weirdest pics possible for Death Grips.

>If he just played traditional tunes or adopted all the traditional playstyles it could easily come off as some sort of romanticized post-colonial new age mish-mash.
that's true I haven't thought about it this way

nah, I've just read one (1) interview with the guy from Rome

"It’s revolting to see ROME to see linked to right-wing bands. There’s these bands that are openly or by causative factors linked to those ideals. Many artists state they aren’t political, but at the same time they’re dealing with very political issues. I’ve always been very clear that we aren’t right-wing and that we’re on the left side of things, even though we’re not a left-wing band as such. I do not want ROME to be a political band. But Nazis are scum, end of story."

what pun could it possibly be

>Did you like the new Chemical Brothers album
yeah, pretty solid house

>you should be in school right now
says the guy asking what op's favorite strain is

>what pun could it possibly be
I don't knoww
I don't think you'd dig micus tho... he makes "multicultural ECM ambient" you know, those albums where liner notes are important

like Jon Hassell?

kinda but good

Meant to say i was listening through their discog for the second time i'm retarded
