That's an odd choice for a Klaus Schulze album. I mean it's good but rarely mentioned. His pre Body Love albums and "X" are what get most of the attention.
The following would be my favorite non-German krautrock albums.
The Mothers of Invention - Freak Out! (1966) (Side D only)
Hapshash & The Coloured Coat - Featuring the Human Host and the Heavy Metal Kids (1967)
Igor Wakhévitch - Docteur Faust (1971)
Moolah - Woe, Ye Demons Possessed (1974)
Chrome - Alien Soundtracks (1977)
This Heat - This Heat (1979)
Cul de Sac - ECIM (1991)
Tortoise - Millions Now Living Will Never Die (1996)
Boredoms - Super ae / Vision Creation Newsun (1998/1999)
Shit chart. Can, Faust, Amon Duul, among others are not kosmische music.
Cute girl.
Good choices but only the D side on Freak Out?
I mean that only the D side (and Brain Police) count as krautrock.
What's your favourite? Cyborg eventually led me into discovering drone music.
>Moolah, Chrome, Tortoise, Igor, This Heat, Super ae, and fucking ECIM
I cant remember seeing a list that made me so happy.
He has so many good albums it's hard to choose. Timewind and Moondawn have that sharp and clean sound that's really hypnotic. The earlier albums are a little bit darker and I like that too. Moondawn could be my favourite because of its buildup, it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. His digital albums are way underranted in my opinion, for example En=Trance (youtube.com
Here's 27 GB collection of spacey electronic music mostly from the 70s and 80s. Includes progressive electronic, krautrock, berlin school, experimental/general synth magic and even some space disco:
