Good evening and good morning!
I tend to be very weak on these threads recently when it comes to feedback giving, it's time to change that! :D
Wishing we all could try and give people feedback more often, not just rec for rec's sake :)

SECOND ALBUM COMING ON MAY 1ST!
Published a second single for this release! You can find it here:

Heard "Watizis(...)". Definitely not my jam but something sticks out of it which I can't really put my finger on. There is a lot going on, there is variety in your sound for sure but I don't feel it's finalized yet. I feel it's more a selection of different ideas that's splashed into a track. The tracks on your account, these snippets - do they have any greater purpose outside of themselves? I'm asking because I don't really see much necessity for them - heard a few of these and they feel uninteresting really. If there is some greater purpose to them I would like to know :) Have a good day!

The only major complain is that each track feels like was mixed by completely different people so they don't feel like being a part of the same release. Other than that - not much to critique here, the songs are pretty solid, the instruments (in certain mixes) feel awesome and early 00's-like, the drums don't feel overblown. I could get used to more shouty vocals sooner or later. Keep up the good work! :)

Attached: 1556222012586.jpg (1200x1200, 126K)

I feel like you're trying to put too many eggs in one basket. Feels like the whole experience, although satisfying at times, is a bit meandering due to the amount of various genres you tackle. That being said - some track on here are giving a nice punch to the gut although there are times where are you over-relying on reverb which makes the whole track muddy as all hell (like in a second track for example). I feel like you need to take time, focus on few ideas at the time and explore them, without being thrown around within the genre field. Try to make a cohesive experience and you will surely see some good results soon :) Take care!

I have to agree about it being a little bit unfocused but it delivers what it sets out to which is always great in my tiny book :D I would definitely change that synth sound of a choir which comes around 1:50. Feels odd in comparison to beat samples but the rest seems nice and tidy. Keep it up! :)

This was fun I'll recc it. I feel like you're really good with silence as part of the composition. Feedback at the end was cool.

It's shoegaze, it's supposed to sound like that.
Kind of ironic hearing you say flesh out the sound a bit when you make lofi folk or what ever.

It's one post. Who cares about a random dude posting dubstep lmao.

Never claimed we were a math rock band, we just add some elements of math into it.

Yeah lol.

Says the guy not posting his music OR critiqing... but ok I'M the bad guy.

Well if you want to add that kind of stuff, listen to some of my complicated songs to get ideas on mathematics music.

sorry, fleshed out probably wasnt the right phrase, i was basically trying to second what said more than anything

how does he have the energy to do this every day?

Also we are mainly alternative I guess, so we are just writing music that we like if that’s baby music to you, oh well. Not everything needs to conform into a certain type of genre.

Yeah well I don't appreciate you trying to act like Dubbi, be nice when talking about everyone's music in this thread. We don't like people being rude for no reason. Fuck you.

Grow a pair of balls and accept that maybe you were wrong. Jesus. Shoegaze is and always will be better than your asswipe folk lmaoo!

This could be good if you keep working on it. I think propper production would really help you out. Here's a free-bee tip for you:
Dubbi's 6 Step Guide to Success:
-1st buy fl studio, its all you need at 1st
-2nd make a kick/snare rythem
-invite some producers over to hang out and get them to help get a melody / bassline idea
-3rd get some studio time,
4th, get some experienced producers to work with you durring your session(s)
5th let them do whatever they want to the song to make it good.
6th DONE! you have a new song you can upload online and start blowing up.

Bro can't handle criticism lol.

Make sure your music doesn't have a beat if you're calling it Ambient.

you guys can go fuck yourselves, we don't need a bunch of assholes here all trying to derail the thread like dj dubbi. Some of us actually want to be musicians one day and aren't just here to shit on each other's art just because you guys are butthurt that a shoegaze artist is the best here. Grow up. I'm done putting up with your bullshit bullying of real musicians.

lmao

He has the point for sure.

Shut up. I'm so done with you guys, you guys claim to hate dubbi but act just like him.
What do you mean?

DJ Dubbi threads are always the worst.

this really is next level delusion, come back once youve come out of ur pure praisal safespace and learnt the difference between genuine insults and criticism. if you actually read my shit i said i liked ur music and that i want u keep making stuff. also the fact u have the audacity to claim im insulting you and then come to a conclusion about my music based on genre and not even bother to listen to it is quite incredible. grow up urself like jesus

Thought this was a solid track overall. As others have said, I wouldn't call it ambient by any stretch, but for what it is it's not bad. Gave me a sort of Clubbed To Death vibe, mostly thanks to those fat ass drums. I don't know if you recorded those yourself or sweetened a sample, but that kick and that snare pop really well in the mix.

Listened to Fuckable. One thing that stood out, and that I really liked, was the vocals. The energy, the way you're singing everything and just your general tone is top notch for me. However, I think your lyrics are a bit lacking. Some of the lines are solid, but "Can't get a like, Can't get a match, .... from the world back" just kind of stood out to me in a bad way. It might be because it's too literal, but if you've got something to say then who gives a shit what a dude on Yea Forums says just go for it.

I like what you've got going man. I'd say the main thing that stood out while listening to your tracks was that there's a lot lot of reverb on most everything, so once you get few sounds going it starts to become a bit cluttered for my ears.

Now for what you seem to be going for, I think a lot of reverb is a good idea actually and it works really well in some of your stuff (especially Rem). But when you've got everything giving off heavy reverb all the time, your sounds sort of get lost in one another and its hard for stuff to stand out.

I'd say either take the reverb down a little on some things, or work on getting some really good volume envelope automation going and try to make it so that everything stands out when it's supposed to

Hey, this shit bumps. The bass and drums interlock really nicely. I don't know if those are samples too or if you recorded/massaged them, but the interplay and feel between them is on point. Only gripe with the bass would be it's too low endy, I can hardly hear the melody of the bass line because all that's screaming in my ear is that sub 200 hz area.

Now as for your main sample:
I like it, but I wish that when you brought the rest of the instruments in you also lowered the high pass a bit. I don't know what the original sample is, so there may be some frequencies that sound shitty that you were trying to cut out. But the whole upper middle area of the audio spectrum (700hz-5000 ish) sounds empty, the only thing filling that space is the drums

youtu.be/uHZKGZFGt_o

some alternative sounds out on null ghost®

I wish we could listen and talk about music and not shit in our pants and into the keyboard.

Like the other guy said, this doesn't feel like traditional ambient. Probably not what you're going for anyway. Would at least ease into the intro somehow, it's really jarring. The high synth at the end might also be a bit loud in the mix. Otherwise pretty cool, imo would make for a killer movie soundtrack bit.

Sounds killer, but I feel like sitar gets monotonous for a lot of people really fast. Not sure how to combat that. Maybe throw in a few phrases that are really toned down to create some variety, since the sitar has such a naturally huge presence (not necessarily a hook, but _something_). Dope stuff.

Lavalamp's my fuckin' jam. The underwater / pass filter sound is cool but I really wish it opened up more. Also think it could use a bit more texture (e.g. small flourishes, a different melody and/or a countermelody)

Horn section gets a bit tired but I think that's because it takes up so much space in such a short piece. The cutoff on the snare sample sounds great and I think it's mixed well. Reminds me of Found Atlantis - The Orange Peel, in a good way.
