I see FfF going down as a bit of an underrated gem in the discog. I love it but I can see a lot of people panning it because there aren't any sick riffs.

Then people should pay attention. Stu literally said that they tried to make a blues-based shuffle record. So it's rooted in that.

this, you pretty much summed up my whole problem with the review. I'm enjoying the album but I can def understand why people wouldn't like this one but the P4k article just sounds like they wrote 80% of the review to shit on the band before the LP dropped, then they filled in the blanks once the album was out

This is a real nice album. Feels like one of their most varied so far, love this direction but I’m keen for that thrash album if they can keep it interesting for 40-odd minutes.
