A bit too "clean" for my tastes if anything but I can really see the beauty in it, extremely skilled and confident vocals and instrumental playing on this thing. Listened to the album once but should really do it again.

This sounds like a Half-Life sound effect. That skip in the middle makes it.

Not the kind of vocal sound I expected when I read >lo-fi, then I saw the >trap part. Not something I can see myself coming back to but it's alright for what it is.

Yeah i purposely gave the lyrics quality less attention than anything else. In track two i didn't even mind if the voice could be listened, i actually prefer that one just without vocals. Also it's spanish lol. Still thank you for giving it a try anyways :)

tremendous sound design, lovely vibe, you might be able to make some extra cash doing production music. your style straddles personal and professional excellently. so good i followed your SC

thoroughly enjoyed the songwriting and the voice. maybe the only thing i'd work on would be the lyrics -- they were good but for instance in your first song there were a couple of forced rhymes, i could hear that you were gonna do an extra twang on man to make it "mein" but you pulled out right before you did it.

i like the subject matter but i think the coolest thing about country is the story it tells through the verses and how that changes what the chorus means.

if you finally do record studio versions of the songs, i'd consider it a personal favor if you stayed away from programmed drums and just got a drummer.

just a thought, good stuff otherwise.

I'd like to hear it once you've redone the vox. I think there's potential, they're just not spot on here like you need for something of this style.
Some of the lyrical phrasing feels a little funny. I think the lyrics would benefit from a some reverb, maybe some tasteful short delay, to pad it out a little more, and hopefully fit into the mix a bit more snugly.

You have a very nice voice for this style, which is my favorite sort of country. I'd love to hear this with a drummer who knows the place of a drummer in a band like this.

It bugs me cus it sounds a lot better through my interface and headphones through my DAW than it does when rendered and through speakers.

If it weren't for that it'd probably be maybe 40% better but still not gud enuf desu, but my standards exceed my ability for now.. the lyrics do need some fixing, its fine until the evil patients and abusive staff bit I think, the bewary beware thing could work but its a bit forced. Obvs vox need a lotta work, it'll take at least a week of strengthening my voice before I get it right, and recording separately to the guitar too which I'm usually too lazy to do.

It's worth it to record them separate. You don't realize how much focus you're losing splitting your attention until you do. Sure, eventually you'd need to do them both at once playing live, but it's really satisfying to get them both down to track perfect, and THEN practice TO that track. And I hear you on different mediums. I've been chasing the mix on my 14 demo tracks (posted 4 on SC so far) for a week or two. They'll sound perfect on my monitor headphones, then like shit in my car or on my computer headphones. Then, I'll write down mixing notes in my car or at my computer, and go back to my multi-track, remix, and it'll end up sounding terrible on whatever it sounded good on before.
Followed you, so if you post them up non-private when you redo the vox, I'll hopefully catch a notification and hear it if I'm not lurking these threads at the time!
