You're living on it.

ok lets start the discussion about this album
it fucking sucks
i dont care how influential it was, music derived from it is much better than the original

It's good :)

>traditional music
>classical music
>jazz (other than Miles, Davis, Coltrane)
>rhythm & blues
>electronic dance
Anything from those genres.

Have you heard Dylan Carlson & Coleman Gray – Fooling with 361 Kickstarters and other lies from the House of Heroin LP?

good ones

Are you telling me that there is legitimate discussion in here?

To be fair there isn't a lot to discuss, it does one thing and it does it well.
Speaking of Earth, can we talk about how weird of a second album this is? Four ~3 min fairly melodic songs and then some of their most abstract long tracks. Its like they had no idea what they wanted to do after Earth 2

What's there to discuss? It's just one long drone

dylan carlson be like

It sucks because actually a good music.

I don't care what Yea Forums has to say.

If you don't care what Yea Forums has to say, then do us all a favor and fuck off with your waifushit.

You are my huge waifu

based

Can we discuss instead Dylan Carlson's association with two known Seatle transvestites?

>look behind you, Kurdt

Best album title tho

Harvey is one of my favorite songs by them
imo that's The Bees Made Honey In The Lions' Skull, but Thrones and Dominions is still a bomb title

wheres the normal frequency version?

he gave him his shotgun and also probably got kurt hooked on smack

it sucks just like you suck crusher cock

Yea Forums is full of little cold-hearted underage faggots, engendered through anonymity

This album is legit the most heart wrenching one I've ever heard. Laser-focused grief with little poetry or instrumentation to distract the mind. It's the only album that I've ever heard that can so effectively give the listener a taste of what the artist is going through.

The only time I've had a reaction of similar strength was Deathpile's GR, which was the creepiest and most terrifying piece of media I've ever subjected myself to.

I feel like this was a cooler experiment than it was an actual song. Like when you listen to it without knowing how it was made, its not really that special.

Best album that I never want to listen to again

Read this post, some guy in the comments literally says he's friends with Deathpile. This album isn't nothing except some guy putting some typical harsh noise sound then putting news about random killers over it. Really nothing scary.

Not that guy, but the scary part isn't angry yelling man, it's that someone really thought like that and killed that many people

I'm not saying it's scary because of the material used, it's the performance and the mindset it puts you in. One of the most significant points was the song "Known Victims", a list of victims punctuated by enraged and distorted screams and drones. Within the context of the album it feels like a wave of unrepentant evil, if that makes any sense.

>BWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-

damn...

unironically amazing record but only if you're into stoner doom and drone

stratosphere gets talked about here all the time lmao

yeah this one wasn't great, next one is his best output imo
