sounds straight from the 80s. dig the synths, they're very emotional. pretty solid singing too.

really solid track. Love the little changeup at 1:30. not a huge fan of the drums, the pattern at 1:48 sounds very out of place. Other than that though I really enjoyed the track, the vocals slap, as does the rest of the instrumentation.

I dig the crunchy chords a lot, but I think it could be compressed/mixed lower a bit more as it overpowers/crunches the speakers a bit.

It's a neat idea though, just needs more refinement and it will sound killer

The solo that starts at 3:03 is very interesting, sounds like you modulated it but also added something else? Can't put my finger on it.

I am not a fan of indie though so it doesn't hit me as much as it would someone else, but it's solid. Keep practising and you will tighten up, good luck my dude

Killer track man! Love your vocals and guitar. I feel like you could add a little bit more of an intro, and also it would be cool if you took the first little part of your guitar solo and made it into some kind of hook in the track, the main guitar riff gets just very slightly repetitive.

The music is great, but the singing is loud and a little strange. It almost sounds like parody. The music is really good though. My advice would be to get a singer or be prepared to do some heavy mod on yiur voice.

It's been like that since day one in music, look at all the great classical composers, they make the idea and the no-name musicians play it. Modern production like mine is just that but with modern music, you "bedroom" musicians are out of the loop.

your bible metaphor doesn’t make sense. people who use quotes and samples don’t say they independently created those original components. the only samplers who do that are hacks, and tend to just copy obscure things without adding anything new to them

there are definitely famous hack producers, but most successful producers who sample are combining a wide array of different things to make something new. often also combined with their own instrumentation. as such, they create a new product. they obviously have no claim to the original sources of the components they used, that’s like saying someone is gonna buy a wrench then say they own fucking home depot
