Their albums all sound pretty different, especially between The Real Thing and Angel Dust, the one after. So if you're not crazy about TRT I'd recommend giving them another shot. That one has always been my personal favourite though

My name isn't Jacob or Julie, but I listened to this album yesterday because another user tried to start a thread about it and I just want to say, if they are here, thank you! That was a lot if fun to pull weeds too. (Pic related) I don't listen to metal a lot, (or mathcore?) but I really enjoyed the modest production, and contrast between the harder and cleaner sections. The riffs and song structure were positively jazzy but without becoming obnoxious or show offy and actually had a lot of classic rock understones which I really appreciated. Shit I haven't had that much fun doing yard work since I weed wacked the back yard to Chocolate Wheelchair by Venetian Snares. (Btw listen to that if your name is Franklin or Francine)
