I'm a self admitted Stan so that means I love him.

He grew up too soon for his fans to adjust to it.

fuck 2010s eminem. im not a stan i just like good music.

top 5 rappers
1.Eminem
2.B-Rabbit
3.Marshall Mathers
4.Slim Shady
5.white guy from D12

...

>white guy from d12
kek

He had some fun singles in the early 2000's. He's good at what he does and goes hard on some tracks, but his humour is 14-year-old-tier and he tries far too hard to be edgy.
I think I'll always enjoy some of his stuff through pure nostalgia, but there are a LOT of better rappers out there.

This is the other type of Eminem fan, the non Stan. The person who doesn't relate personally to Eminem's music and only likes the fun silly stuff (Real Slim Shady) or motivational stuff (Lose Yourself), but doesn't understand the deeper (If I Had) or darker side (No Apologies).

Which there's nothing wrong with, rap is a much more self focused ego driven genre than most both for the artists and the listeners, the individual artist and what they say and the individual person and how much they can relate to it is far more important than in other genres, I feel.

Nice

He's said it himself that a lot more people like Shady than the more serious sides of his personality.

Well, Shady is the edgelord anyway....Shady is the comedian and the serial killer, Marshall Mathers is the personal introspective side, Eminem is just the rapper.

not black dont care

>released 2 good albums
>rest is garbage
>revival is literally one of the worst rap albums ever
>pseudo intellectual, always self centered
>is a pretty good lyricist but nothing else
>normies call him a rap god

I used to like his music, now i don't really care

He's the 9th best selling artist according to Wikipedia.

I actually don't know what to think of him, he's got some good songs out there like Stan and things that are there to take the piss that work, and things that are there to take the piss that don't work like Fack, and things that just shouldn't exist like Revival. Consistency is not his forte.

he's beginning to feel like a rap god

Based

>implying eminem show is shit

>my man Stan with a gat in his hand, stakin' my house out in a tanned, tinted sedan
>pull your mouth out til you can't finish your damn
>ham sandwich, or you canned spinach and spam
'99-'01 Eminem was probably the best rapper to ever make a record. Everything from D12 World on is hot garbage

Might be remembered as second best after I get hype.

Wrong

Best rapper of all time

Overrated trash

He’s not as cool as MatPat’s wife Stephanie.

Wtf, did you start using internet last month or something??

I hate that, this comment is on each video on his YouTube channel. Like ffs.

His music feels like it has soul and is very encouraging at times. He should choose better beats and make more shorter tracks now to adapt to the zeitgeist of today's rap music. That's not to say that he shouldn't do longer tracks but only if they have good storytelling or are unique or are intended to be radio hits. His cadence and flow intermingle nicely with Trap beats (rainy days) too. It would be interesting to see him rule the charts again

>hasn’t released any project above a 7/10
>all his music outside a select few is severely dated even compared to his contemporaries at the time
>shitty horrorcore lyrics means that the content will always be 2nd compared to his rapping ability
>the rap equivalent of guitar wankery, can’t write a good song to save his life
>has a weird feud against the kids while being unaware that being young and rebellious and white is what got him recognition
>convinced it’s not him who’s washed it’s the kids who are wrong
>still making music at 45 years old the same exact way he was when he was 21
>acts like he got here on his own when the Dre co-sign got him credibility
>he’s never been in a beef with an actual lyricist with some recognition.
>he did NOT destroy ja rule and had no reason to join in when 50 made a song, and when ja made a diss back he needed people like a bitch

>he did NOT destroy ja rule
This.

remember when he made that song for Call of Duty?
