Death Grips- Year of the Snitch
since you're into industrial, prog, and psychedelic, this would definetely be the best DG starting album if you haven't heard them yet. Dilemma legit sounds like a 70s krautrock song.

youtube.com/watch?v=WGU_4-5RaxU

when i'm sad i tend to listen to sad shit. i posted an EP by sway i really like, cupid deluxe, duster.
also for more recs also meant more my rhp/sunkillmoon.

not super into hip hop. i like the "moment of truth" album by gangstarr, big l, grave diggaz/wutang for east coast shit. i like some bay area shit likemac dre/husalah, some old andre nickatina.

cool good to hear

heart of glass is my favorite blondie song
my dad and i always used to get in fights because he was like "no blondie isn't punk stop calling blondie punk" and i liked to mess with him by saying they are etc

good times

damn what is this divine comedy stuff. the album cover has artwork from some of the most famous divine comedy illustrations and clearly the lyrics must be about it but i don't know what language it is. do you have any more context?

ok guys im going to bed AFTER this post ok

i listened to down colorful hill a while back and thought it was boring as shit but this is actually pretty good thanks
>Halfnelson
>recorded 1968
woah this is crazy cool man
i listened to it when it came out but dont really remember it

goodnight

Dad sounds like a cutie
Not sure how far you've gone into brill building or ye-ye
youtube.com/watch?v=5k0GDQrK2jo

youtube.com/watch?v=fywooUlcXXc

Roller coaster butterflies and naive dizziness i prescribe to you

Song is by a group called Os Mutantes
very good semi-underground Psych rock from late 60's / early 70's from Brazil
Apples wrap naked bodies
In this stream that flows in soft veins, within me
Angels and Archangels do not land in this infernal Eden
And the arrow of the savage has killed a thousand birds in the air

Quiet, the serpent
Wraps itself around your feet
It is Lucifer of the forest
That tempts hold me

Come love, what a paradise
In a hug friend
Will smile for us
Without anyone seeing us

I promise to open
My soft love
Like a flower full of honey
To get you drunk
Without anyone to see us

Bring black grapes
Bring parties and flowers
Bring bodies and pain
Bring incense and odors

Lyrics to that song from the album A divina comédia ou ando meio desligado ( The divine comedy or I'm half off ) 1970

Good album check it out buddy

It's the sparks before they became sparks, this is the demo recorded and sent to studios for distribution but was considered too extreme / far out / non commerical so they re recorded an album called Halfnelson under the name Halfnelson but it was bad, then they released A Woofer in Tweeter's Clothing
under the name Sparks, but it was bad, then they released Kimono My House which was insanely good
There's a little history for you

big and fat
both descriptions

youtube.com/watch?v=MkGjDbKauVo

what a pleasant surprise
I always love your charts and this album sounds nice, thank you

well my two favorite Kozelek projects are on my chart, Ocean Beach and April
Old Ramon and Ghosts of the Great Highway are worth giving a special mention aswell
But really there isn't a single album from the span of Down Colorful Hill to Benji that I wouldn't recommend listening to. After Benji it gets very iffy

Here are a few favorite songs if you're interested

For the sweetest, wisest soul of all my days and lands—and this for his dear sake,
Lilac and star and bird twined with the chant of my soul,
There in the fragrant pines and the cedars dusk and dim.
