Billie co-produced some of the songs on her album, plus she's proven herself to be very cultured and takes a lot of influence from multiple sources. She's even said she started writing her own songs at age 11, so younger than Kate.

I'm not sure "child prodigy" is really a thing when they're making music in their teens and have access to soundcloud and DAWs. It's ridiculusly easy to make music today than it was 30 years ago or even 20 year ago.

Actually Kate Bush learned piano before she was 11 and then started to learn violin. Again, this is all before the internet existed and YouTube tutorials were a thing.
