rap

Black Metal. Also the "all asian people look the same" stereotype is stupid and so is this one.

I thought we clarified rap isn't a genre?

rock

london rap/grime/drill
i swear to fucking god every single song is produced by the same prick

asian music

this, except for the second part

dancehall

>these six white people look alike
>therefore all white people look alike
???

congratulations you now know how asian people feel on a regular basis

only three of those women look the same. And even still it's nowhere near the level of Asians, they're like fucking clones or something, not saying it's a bad thing, better to clone one hot chick over and over again than make a bunch of uniquely ugly ones.

White people can have a vast range of facial structures, hair/eye colours, skin types and builds though. East Asians objectively have less diversity in every one of those fields.

Gonna grab the low-hanging fruit and (while not really a genre) say lo-fi hip hop beats.
Not to say it's bad, because in essence, it's just background music. It's the equivalent of white noise, and it's meant to sound the same. I'd argue it actually benefits from it.

Also synthwave.

Rap and metal

house

Agreed. I'd throw Thrash Metal in there too.

All genres you haven't familiarized youself with. I can tell the difference between japs, chinese, vietnamese and thai people, but if you live in china and deal with them everyday you can even see the difference between northern chinese and southern chinese etc

>East Asians objectively have less diversity in every one of those fields.
source?

lmao okay dude

You need to define white first, stop counting mutts and its the same diversity that asians have

My eyeballs

eric

>objectively
>t. My eyeballs

My eyeballs never lie.

Mainstream country. Especially 20 to 35 year old white guys in cowboy hats and acoustic guitar.

Asia is way too fucking big dude. There's blue eyed Aryans living in Afghanistan. It's more diverse than you think.

Pro tip: Asians have hard time telling white people apart.

See also: white tourists constantly being mistaken for celebrities in China.

Doo wop

That's because Asians only have the little slit-eyes and can't see too well.

Thats not because we look alike, you dumm. thats because they have coinslits for eyes

Lol. Is this a joke?

You're the only joke around here, buddy.

>rap

Correct. It's mostly just yelling shit over a programmed bass/drum beat. Every rapper could multiply his wealth by suing all the others for plagiarism. The songs are THAT similar.

White people music

>tfw face blindness
Everyone looks the same to me. There's no music for this god forsaken feel.

nypost.com/2017/12/21/chinese-users-claim-iphone-x-face-recognition-cant-tell-them-apart/

metal
like
what's the difference between heavy, death, or even trash lmao they're all played by dirty longhaired white dudes who loves to wank over their guitar or scream like gay banshees

this, I can't remember faces and I can't tell if a person is 22 or 40.

To be fair, there does eventually become a difference between genres once they’re separated enough. But yeah, most of the “micro genres” all sound the same. Like there’s a huge difference between this
youtube.com/watch?v=4YbD40UMwHQ
and this
youtube.com/watch?v=QBP8imm03Mo
But what the fuck is the difference between goregrind and pornogrind? What the fuck is the difference between stoner metal and sludge metal? What the fuck is the difference between death metal and black metal? Fuck off with all these tiny little sub genres

shoegaze

very cool and reliable and objective and scientific source

Ya seethe?

all music is just sound

Modern popular rap seems to be extremely samey, but it wasn't always like that and it's not an inherent condition of the genre. I'm not even a rap fan and I still know this.

>rap
people from outside the states do rap in way better and more diverse ways than people in the genre’s native country ever will. give albums like neurofotoreceptorplotyka jako magia bytu, al-qaida finland, and le cafard a listen, user.
>metal
im no metalhead, but it’s perhaps just a diverse genre as rock today. you should try more experimental groups like earth, sunn o ))), and others. im gonna recommend unanswered hymns by chrch, too.
in summary, you should explore a genre in depth before you claim it all sounds the exact same.

>no disco
>no reggae

Only sensible post ITT

reggae is the only correct answer

The worst one for it is neofolk but that’s a small genre anyway

>What are some genres of music where everything sounds the same?
arr rock same

All people that represent a race look the same, white, black, asian, it doesn't matter.

Trap

Not so much that you can't tell them apart.

Yes
No

Reggaeton

haha yes

Asian people: all white people look the same.
Also Asian people: You're racist for saying all Asian people look the same.

Congratulations. You figured out the point of the meme.

grindcore

unironically Reggaeton
>some autotuned spics shouting like monkeys over the same fucking 'bass---snare-bass-snare' beat

you are probably autistic

UK Drill scene hasn't been big for very long. Most of the songs are produced by the same few guys. Not to mention it's all gang related so you can't exactly collaborate with people on the other side so a lot of artists just stick with who they know. Starting to switch up now though and the genre is getting a bit more experimental and unique.
