What's nazi about this?
Current 93 hate nazis
Wait how is neofolk linked to nazis
We don't really talk about live albums outside of threads that are like "what are some of your favorite live albums?"
This.
Current 93 is anti-collectivist music geared towards misanthropes and esoteric types.
Genuine ethno-nationalists listen to the traditional pagan folk of their countrymen, and not some gay christian music that is a deliberate bastardization of said music.
Current is great and all but I find myself listening to DI6 and Rome a lot more

but it's a kino live alum.
Both are good.
Have you gotten into Sol Invictus at all?
what even is neofolk
No objection here.
Current 93 have many good live albums though.
It's a weird little genre that arose from industrial and post-punk.
It actually varies a lot, but most of the prominent bands sort of sound like Death in June.
Either post-industrial combined with folk music, or just folk with a dark, ominous, apocalyptic atmosphere. Sometimes a tad bit psychedelia-infused. Also, very repetitive songs structures.
Many neofolk artists have ideals rooted in old European ideals
Aren't they all racists and fascists?
I find that very offputting.
the only british music worth listening to
This too, but few of the actually popular ones are actual neo-nazis.
Most of them are just pagans.
Rome is legit some of the best anarchist music I've heard in my life.
It's mostly a gimmick.
Very little of that remains in the core scene.
David Tibet was particularly quick to distance himself from Nazi aesthetics.

Current 93 discord is here for anyone interested.

I doubt it.
This.
How do oldschool goths do it? How do they listen to Sol Invictus and think it's acceptable music?
What about british post-rock? Too Pure has an amazing catalogue
