That shit you posted looks like the most boring 700 club 50s tie n slax whitebread conservative stuff you could ever make

It's a shame that your generation isn't able to appreciate such good music but think that "Little Dicky is hard"

both are mass produced cheap crap pandering for a specific audience
if you listen to that 'old music' example you're just as stupid as anyone who is really into rap

You chose a slow song for "popular music before", so it would only make sense you choose a popular slow song for today. you're showing polar ends of the spectrum. You should've chose something like Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Chuck Berry, or the white equivalent of those kinds of guys if you were being serious. Maybe The Animals, for example, they're kind of rebellious. you might have had a point then

Maybe.

Out of all the good shit that came out in the past, why would you use that particular song as an example? I could see the appeal, but it just sounds boring compared to a lot of good shit back in the day.

Hell, if anything you could've used 50's-60's jazz or 70's funk/soul as a prime example of how good popular black music was, until record labels started killing hip-hop & shitted it all up with lame rappers & corny trap beats.
