i always listen to ceres & calypso in the deep time to fall asleep. its very dense and theres no pauses or quiet parts, so i can get to sleep in a hostel or on the train when people are snoring and making noise. at home i dont need music to fall asleep
Sleep Research Facility - any of their albums
Robert Rich - Somnium
The KLF - Chill Out
Brian Eno - On Land
are what I usually fall asleep to.
>sleeping album
>has drums
wtf user
This and the rest of Norwegian Black Metal are great to listen in bed on comfy long winter nights
They're sleepy drums

Love that one too but Shadow always bolts me right up
idk why but I always thought that beach house's self titled would make a good sleeping album
essential slowcore.
Also Grouper - Ruins. Im pretty sure any Grouper album is good to sleep to. Ruins' second track is almost a lullaby.
the smiths - asleep
earth moon transit might wake you up.
still one of my fav songs tho
I've already done some trial and error
The most problematic thing is having drums but somehow with enough reverb some drums still work.
The stuff I listen to:
carrie n lowel, gemini, nocturne
Pretty much unsurprisingly dreampop
funny you mention that. On my first listen I was fallin asleep and that woke me up.

Best post in the thread. A few years ago in college I fell asleep to Ruins at least two dozen times one year, and not in a bad way. It is brilliant, one of my favorite albums of the decade.

had a really sad nap to Long Division earlier
