Haven't Heard:
Interview 2016 and Fashion Week

Powers That B > M$ > No Love > BP > Snitch > GP
I won't rank steroids in there because that's just ranking the main albums but it very much is one of the best things they've done

DEATH GRIPS IS 10/10. EVERYTHING THEY MAKE, 10/10. EVERY SINGLE FUCKING SONG, 10/10.

holy shit imagine thinking some rough 2011 mixtape with no dynamics is better than literally any album from their 8 years of improvement and growth since. you ranked money store as second though which is good
money store and steroids switch between number one and two for me often. right now steroids is one though. respectable opinion

don't worry dude i ranked jenny death as my least favorite album but i'd still give it an 8 or 9. everything they do is pretty much killer. jenny death, ex military, and no love deep web are just not good RELATIVE to their other releases

1. The Money Store
2. Ex Military
3. No Love Deep Web
4. Jenny Death
5. Niggas on the Moon
6. Bottomless Pit
7. Year of the Snitch
8. Government Plates

where is steroids

shit opinion right on the get go everybody

it's their densest record. it's their most original record. it's their catchiest record. putting it anywhere outside their top 3 or 4 is just being a tasteless contrarian.

rave.dj/G2KXnypxvqKcmw

youre welcome

>densest
No, that's YotS
>most original
This could go to almost any of their records, but I'd say NotM takes the most original crown since it sounds less like anything else I've ever heard.
>It's their catchiest record
God no, NLDW, GP, and Bottomless Pit all have much better hooks.
>putting it anywhere outside their top 3 or 4 is just being a tasteless contrarian.
Putting it at number 1 shows that you've simply under-listened to everything else they've ever released. At the bear absolute minimum No Love Deep Web is better in every respect you've described, objectively. TMS is their worst album.

1. Year of the Snitch

I consider the instrumental albums to be Zach Hill and Flatlander collabs. Ride probably contributed but it's his voice that makes it Death grips IMO

How do y'all nibbas like YOTA so much, ye the singles were alright but the rest of the spoopy jazz instrumentals are just boring

I meant yots fuk

The Fear alone is enough to bump it up a few spots 2bh

>DGIO
>Flies
>Black Paint
>Horn Section
>Hahaha
>Shitshow
>Dilemma
>The Fear
>Disappointed
All of these songs would make my DG top 20. I love their abstract stuff more than their more straightforward stuff. It's like they re-listened to Birds and made an entire album out of that idea.

9/10 - TMS
9/10 - Exmilitary
8/10 - BP
8/10 - NLDW
7/10 - Steroids
6/10 - GP
6/10 - YOTS

4/10 - FotM
4/10 - Jenny Death
3/10 - Interview 2016

1. Steroids
2. Bottomless Pit
3. Exmilitary
4. Year of the Snitch
5. Niggas on the Moon
6. The Money Store
7. Jenny Death
8. No Love Deep Web
9. Government Plates

Where do I start with Death Grips? Heard one album is full of Bjork samples

Just start from Exmilitary and go chronologically. There's no ideal start point and everyone disagrees on what albums are best so you might as well get a feel for the progression of the band.

1) Jenny Death
2) Bottomless Pit
3) Steroids
4) Exmilitary
5) TMS
6) YOTS
everything else

>doesn't bother to properly rank NLDW
confirmed for ADHD

LMAO

TMS is their most boring album certainly

The money store and bottomless pit are both great and straightforward

NLDW
NOTM
YOTS
GP
Steroids
Exmilitary
Bottomless Pit
Money Store
Jenny Death

Oh yeah I forgot Bottomless Pit. That would probably be either 6 or 7.

>not ranking BP or NotM

Here's an objectively correct rating for y'all busters:

1. Neighbours On The Moon
2. Steroids
3. Money Store
4. Exmilitary
5. No Love Deep Weeb
6. Government Plates
7. Jenny Death
8. Year of the Snitch
9. Fashion Week
10. Bottomless Pit
11. Interview

>ranking Interview below Fashion Week
objectively incorrect
youtube.com/watch?v=geZJ9aUUWsI&list=OLAK5uy_lW0fVx4Oglh9DC0q_EM-BGelRcVgdRYxw&index=3

Should've ranked it like this because I want everyone to know how much I detest The Money Store and Bottomless Pit. Sellout Store and Bottomless Pit of Garbage (sans Spikes, Eh, Trash) is more like it.

Good list user.

Attached: 545454634.png (500x517, 119K)

>jazz
It's a fucking rock record. The redpill is realizing they are better than ever now that they found the perfect rock influence.
1. Bottomless Pit
2. Year of the snitch
3. Exmilitary
4. Steroids
5. The money store
6. Jenny death
7. Niggas on the moon
8. Government plates
9. No love deep web

>Sellout Store and Bottomless Pit of Garbage
TMS may be my least favorite but it's still a really good record. Just because they're hooky and more accessible doesn't make them bad.

What a turbopleb.

I don't know how anyone could listen to Jenny Death and rank it any lower than 1.

>Pss Pss
>On Gp
>Turned Off
> Centuries of Damn
>The Powers that B
>IBMWMFITUS
>Why a Bitch Gotta Lie
C'mon lads.

1. Exmilitary
2. Steroids
3. The Powers That B
4. The Money Store
5. Year of the Snitch
6. Bottomless Pit
7. Government Plates
8. No Love Deep Web
>6. Fellas on the Moon

>Steroids
>The Money Store
>Jenny Death
>NLDW
>Bottomless Pit
>Ex-Military
>Government Plates
>Niggas on the Moon
>Year of the Snitch

Only answer.

It's pretty interesting to see how varied DG fans' tastes are. Literally no one can agree on a best album, let alone top 3.

>Hooky
Yeah if you're into solange or a teenager. Everything after Blackjack and before Hacker is incredibly weak (8 tracks) and just makes it apparent how directionless the album actually was. Even Zach Hill basically said they made it for people who don't really appreciate music as an artform. If not for those 8 tracks were better I would agree that it's a good album.

>holy shit imagine thinking some rough 2011 mixtape with no dynamics is better than literally any album from their 8 years of improvement and growth
Yes
Different user but this is an acceptable opinion
DG is a case where you could honestly say with most anything of their’s that one is the best above the others, but refinement and improvement in technique isn’t inherently better for creativity. Depends on what you’re grading the release on, in this case

Why a Bitch Gotta Lie is actually kind of bad. Pss Pss is just okay. The rest are great. Centuries and On GP easily beat anything on NotM for me.

>FotM
Why

I copied the OP without thinking

>Hustle Bones
>The Cage
>Punk Weight
>motherfucking Double Helix
>weak
Hoy shit you’re dumb. And all the put down around TMS had more to do with the fact that No Love Deep Web was a more original and pure sound and that they wanted to move on from TMS.

You’re also completely mental if you think Bottomless Pit is almost as weak as you believe TMS to be.

EU ips should be permabanned from Yea Forums (American website)

I could totally expose your taste for what it is but I gotta go to sleep rn, gn handsome.

Im an American you twat.

>having reddit tier taste like this
Projecting much?

NOTM - 8.5
ExM - 8
BP - 7.5
TMS - 7.5
Jenny Death - 6.5
YOTS - 6
havent listened to others and about to listen to steroids as it looks like anons rate it highly here

Attached: HONWmVf.jpg (512x424, 18K)

you better post your rankings cunt

NotM>GP>Steroids>TMS>NLDW>BP>EXM>YotS>JD>FW

what it means when you rank each album as number one:
exmil- tasteless memeboy faggot
TMS- patrician
NLDW- not much taste, but not a faggot either
GP- patrician
NOTM- true reddit-tier
JD- not patrician but respectable
BP- eh
Steroids- TRUE PATRICIAN
YoTS- Patrician

people who rate steroids and gp high are contrarians trying to look cool

DEFINITIVE LIST COMING UP RIGHT HERE NIGGERS

>1.THE POWERS THAT B
>2.STEROIDS
>3.EXMILITARY
>4.BOTTOMLESS PIT
>5.NO LOVE DEEP WEB
>6.THE MONEY STORE
>7.YEAR OF THE SNITCH
>8.GOVERNMENT PLATES

Steroids is legit some of their best, no filler.
GP on the other hand is entirely filler, and you are a contrarian if you rate it highly.

Is the unmastered version of TMS the definitive one?

1. Jenny death
2. Bottomless pit
3. Male members of the African race on a celestial satellite
4. Ex military
5. No love deep web
6. Steroids
7. Government plates
8. Money store
9. Fashion week
10. Interview

Wrong, money store is the weakest non-instrumental album

Steroids is all killer no filler. Every song is so fucking insane. It's like NOTM but actually hardcore and catchy and enjoyable.
GP has some of their best songs ever but is padded out with painfully average trackes like feels like a wheel

Exmilitary isn't that creative. I want it I need it is just 6 minutes of drums with some Pink Floyd sample. The production, sample choices, and just the amount of amazing detail they pack into each track is faaaaar more creative on most releases past ex.

1. Exmilitary
2. Steroids
3. The Money Store
4. The Powers That B
5. Bottomless Pit
6. No Love Deep Web
7. Government Plates
8. Year Of The Snitch
9. Interview 2016
10. Fashion Week

exmilitary is the most "death grips" records: it's nihilistic, degenerate, drug and sex crazed, anti-authoritarian, occultish, it's really everything they stand for packaged into one album. steroids is a return to that form imo.

This.

Exmilitary smacked me in the face when it first came out and nothing they've done since has had the same impact imo, except for maybe Jenny Death.

I agree, I think it speaks volumes about the diversity amongst their works

>niggas on the moon
>anything below 2nd or 3rd
jesus your taste is just as abysmal

Attached: wowfag.jpg (270x259, 14K)

Its another..
>Yea Forums dickrides the "muh creativity and abstraction is better than hooks and music that is pleasing to the ear!"
episode

I knew this board has shit tastes but damn, didn't know it was this bad.

>having a boring, mess of an album anywhere near your top 7

Lol consider blowing off your ears immediately.

1. The Powers That B
2. The Money Store
3. Steroids
4. Year of the Snitch
5. Exmilitary
6. Bottomless Pit
7. No Love Deep Web
8. Interview 2016
9. Government Plates
10. Fashion Week

STR > YOTS > TMS > BP > GP > EXM > NOTM > JD > NLDW
all at least a 7/10
new death grips when

Attached: trip.jpg (800x450, 115K)

The correct order is Jenny death>bottomless pit>steroids>exmilitary>money store>niggas on the moon
Order of others doesn't matter

I did earlier

nah

I think the only real consistency you can find is that certain albums tend to rank together. GP and NLDW tend to cluster together (plebs put them together at the very bottom, and as you can see we have many in here). Similarly, Exmilitary and The Money Store tend to cluster together.

Bottomless pit is a powerful pleb filter and this is it in action

Very based

the correct order is

exmilitary > nldw > tms > yots > steroids > jd > notm > bp > gp

All of it is shit

holy flippin based!

just swap yots and exmil
