I’ll start with this masterpiece
ITT - underrated albums in a bands discography
i agree with this
not so much with this
Stop, you’ve violated the law
Tormato
that is one hell of a fedora cover
Dude, yes. Except Tai Shan. Even the band admits not being a fan of the song lol.
I was the last one in class finishing an assignment in world history one day, with the much hated teacher grading papers up front. People didn't like this teacher for the simple fact that he didn't allow phones and things like that and was generally more serious than the other teachers in the school. When I went to turn my paper in he pointed out my rush shirt and said he was a fan, and that he saw them on the roll the bones tour. We talked for a few minutes about rock of the period, the shows we've seen, and things like that. I came away from the whole thing with a new perspective and learned to think for myself a lot more, it was pretty cool.
what was this teacher's name. this is hitting close to home.
I don't remember it, it started with a c I think? It was in a preparatory school in san antonio, though I'm sure a lot of other people have had similar experiences
WHY ARE WE HERE?
BECAUSE WE’RE HERE
ROLL THE BONES
This one and Power Windows are two of the absolute best albums Rush ever made- it's absolutely outstanding how undervalued these albums are. No one was merging pop with prog rock so well except for King Crimson (arguably Genesis if you consider their later albums prog at all).
Roll the Bones is actually shit.
My nigga. This is Radiohead's best. TKOL is also a better album than In Rainbows.
was it krier? i had a dbag world history teacher who also liked rush. this was at a prep school in houston like 15 years ago though
No I don't believe so, plus this was more around five years ago for me. It is coincidental that we had an experience that similar though
Going for the One - Yes
