Been listening to a ton of emo / pop punk lately because it makes me remember middle school times.
But I never really got into the scene too much so what do you guys recommend? Like Fallout Boy, MCR, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Hawthorne Heights etc...
inb4 someone calls you a mean name. I honestly love that shit, but I generally go for the for 90s stuff >Texas is the Reason > SDRE > The Promise Ring
Asher Rodriguez
I only know Sunny Day real estate really from the 90s

Ian Collins
Check out the other two they're a good balance between SDRE and the more 2000s form. TPR is very pop punk.

idk if this is all considered emo by Yea Forums standards but anyway:
TBS is cringe unless you're a literal 15 year old and girls won't talk to you.

I went back to Deja Entendu after not hearing it a while. At the time I thought it was just another radio emo band, and they kind of were, but listening to it now there's a LOT of consciously trying to be Radiohead. Interesting clash of aesthetics, I can really hear why they were the one everyone was saying was the MTV emo band to take "Seriously".
Millennials have nostalgia for it too, fag. Go look at the comment sections for Sum 41, blink-182, and Lit. And that's not even including the younger millennials who became adolescents in the 2000's who listened to emo pop punk.
