What is death grips' best work, Yea Forums?
The Powers That B
Government Plates
you're living on it
Exmilitary or Niggas on the Moon
either tptb or yots
there's that fpbp
this
all of them.
Bottomless Pit
Hell yeah. Bottomless Pit Gang.
of course namefag is wrong
get got
The one where he goes sicko in the car
these two
Government plates or NOTM
NLDW, NotM or Steroids
You posted it.
Year of the sneed
YOTS and Steroids
you posted it
Exmilitary, other opinions could however be right
its steroids
yots is okish but steroids is superior. No filler on steroids. Yots has tons of filler.
steroids was them reinventing their sound again like they did on NOTM
This.
Exmilitary is unironically correct. This is when Death Grips were (now) at their best and should have been finished
it becomes obvious after listening to their discography enough times.
Fpbp
This.
Cheers
The Money Store, unironically.
Best production, most variety, tracks flow beautifully, they never reached those heights again.
There's a WHOLE thread dedicated to their best album.
I've seen a lot of negative opinions toward The Money Store recently and I honestly think it's because contrarian brainlets don't like that it's their most well known album
this is absolutely true lmao
First Post Best P
GP. Shit just Big House alone is pure kino and hype af. I feel like I'm about to enter a boss fight. Name another song that does something similar to that.
Bottomless Pit (the song, not the entire album) sounds like you're already in the middle of the sickest boss fight ever conceived
every opinion is correct but my favorites are year of the snitch, bottomless pit, the money store, exmilitary and government plates
>Best production, most variety, tracks flow beautifully
you literally just described year of the snitch
Only ONE opinion is the right opinion but we can never know which is it.
Why won't you elitists admit that exmilitary is their worst? Literally half of the songs on there are just boring
YES SIR
Bottomless Pit
I'd say this for the powers that b (both sides), yots was good but I feel like steroids direction would have been more interesting to explore
I listen to this album and it just a bunch of random noises and a guy saying dr pepper over and over again NOT GOOD
NLDW for me
can we ban all namefags,or at least this one
the general non-consensus on an album (or grouping) is pretty much a quintessential factor of death grips: no one can agree on what is the best, because the music is so different from the previous that it pretty much has anything for anyone.
death grips truly are the head niggas in charge
The Money Store
Depends on my mood, but either YotS or NLDW.
steroids is the easiest listen through
i love notm and yots
its all good tho
>best album
>TMS
user you're retarded
NOTM and TMS, objectively, but they're starting to feel dated
GP and BP are underrated
I think its just more accessible than the others, and most tracks are immediately catchy, which is why initially it was praised so highly by everyone. Its still a 10 in my opinion but their other albums that followed were a lot more experimental and therefore were slow growers and took longer to be appreciated. Money store is def top 4 dg album for me, but not my personal fav
Every song is fucking good even blood creeping
Exmilitary
Jenny Death. Best riffs from their entire discography.
>I honestly think it's because contrarian brainlets don't like that it's their most well known album
No, it's just their most uninteresting.
Exmilitary is more raw and tuneful.
No Love Deep Web is more neurotic and minimal.
Government Plates has better layering and cohesion.
Niggas on the Moon is more chaotic.
Jenny Death has better lyricism.
Bottomless Pit is sharper and more refined.
Year of the Snitch has more variety and edge.
The Money Store's one thing that it does better than all of these other albums is that it has the most accessible hooks, but accessible doesn't equate to better necessarily. The hooks on NLDW for instance don't grab you as fast, but they grow on you over time, while the ones on TMS start to wane simply because they're so upfront and center.
Also Fuck That is a legitimately terrible song.
"It's been a pleasure, Stefan"
Either money store or yots
You're dreaming. There are only 4 or 5 songs on that album that are above average.
What the fuck is "tuneful"? This is nonsense word salad.
"Government plates has better layering" go fuck yourself.
Seconded.
Why does BP get so much hate? I really enjoy it. I don't think it's their best work, but it seems weird that it gets so much flak on here.
Literally none of it.
Good contribution to the thread, you useless faggot
damn...
Fuck that is absolutely based
>their other albums do specific things better, therefore negative opinions of The Money Store are justified
???
NLDW>TMS>EM>YotS>Steroids>JD>NotM>selftitled EP>GP>FW>Interview
The Powers That B
It's the whole package not to say the hype surrounding it was comedy gold. Also the fact they had it on them since fucking Exmilitary is amazing.
Actually yes, because depending on what you want from Death Grips you will find some albums better than others.
Explain why it doesn't.
It's their least dissonant record, it's most traditionally melodious (Beware, Spread Eagle). Whether that's good or bad depends on the listener.
no love deep web, jenny death and ex military
