how did they follow up such a great album with fuckin Bossanova??

I know a guy who was a bouncer for one of their shows in Baltimore in 1991.

the Doolittle25 comp. is worth getting with all the b-sides

Check out The Amps and The Breeders if you like the pixies but don't feel like being a reddit tier pleb anymore

I really really like the animals references, any album similar to this?

Probably one of my most played albums in the 2019 spotify rewind.

Just listened to that Amps record for the first time last week, dont know how the fuck I never knew of its existance all these years.

I'm prob in the minority, but lately I dig Frank Black and Kim Deal's post-Pixies stuff more than a lot of the Pixies records. Maybe I've just listened to them all too much and its nice to hear some of their stuff I haven't heard as much of until more recently.

Probably my favorite from Bossnova. I think its kinda underrated, yeah its not as hard rocking as their other albums, but its got some gems that grow on you the more you listen to it.

>how did they follow up such a great album with their best album?

honestly my favorite album from the alternative rock glory days (90-95) some of these would've been good "Kim tracks" on a pixies album if they didnt break up by then

They just re-iussed limited record store day releases of the first two Frank Black albums, I missed out I'll have to try discogs or something. Are any of the FB albums after that worth getting into? I've always heard they started going downhill after Cult of Ray

Kidding brah. I was there and lived it. RIP all of them that died and the hope and optimism of that time.

Favorite song on this album:
