A Crow Looked at Me came out shortly after my dad died and it made me cry very hard.

I cried to the Undertale Soundtrack. It felt so genuine and good. Couldn't give a damn about the game's story or characters, but the music has a great feel to it.
I have literally never felt. I only listen to Deicide's first 2 albums and Master of Puppets.
BASED

Go Won - One & Only

the first few times listening to this,
when it transitioned to the chorus, i cried, the chord and tempo change were unexpected and completely perfect.
have headphones on.
Three pieces emotionally stunned me in particular
>Ravel's Menuet sur le nom de Haydn; the cascading thirds in the first theme
Frankly, this was the moment that I decided I wanted to be a composer. Borodin's life as a chemist and a composer allowed me to find a path I could balance. That said, this piece overwhelmed me with its beauty and it was frankly the first piece I could so clearly visualize the form, which greatly aided me on deciding that was what I wanted.
>Sibelius' Fifth Symphony; the exact moment where you can pinpoint the shift in time signatures where the recapitulation ought to begin (and instead a scherzo begins) in the first movement
That moment was a watershed moment for me. The beauty was actually overwhelming and sent chills through my spine that still tingle when I think of that section; nevermind hear it, especially recently that I heard it in the concert hall. I have studied Sibelius' scores more than any other composer, despite operating in totally different instrumentation (chamber music of unusual ensembles and choral music for amateurs), and he's been my main influence.
>Kalevi Aho's Sieidi; the second solo section for toms and snare
By God is that section stunning in the concert hall. Every goddamn hit of percussion takes on a life bigger than itself when given the proper acoustics, and the bass drums are amplified to infinity, giving the whole moment an amazing build up of tension that always gets more intense in the best way possible.
Admittedly pleb answer, but I bawled my eyes out shamelessly seeing Andrew W.K. perform You're Not Alone
Cried tears of joy the first time I ever saw Ween
cried listening to pink floyd the wall
I’ve never cried to an album, Click made me tear up though
the closest i got to crying was john wayne gacy jr in illinois. a close second was twin fantasy (just the whole thing)
Unreal - Bladee

based
Imagine crying because of waves of air pressure. LMAO.
Incredibly based.
It doesn’t make me cry, but that’s a gorgeous song for sure.
For me it's Devin Townsend's "Deadhead" and "The Death of Music", especially live recordings.
That and perhaps Low's version of "Lullaby", always leaves me a mess.
i can't cry to anything anymore but the end of earthmover always makes me feel some very distinct feelings.

i've cried to a lot of music
meme answer: the first time i listened to "hospice" i laid on the couch in the dark and felt completely emotionally drained by the end
less meme and sad answer: stravinsky's firebird suite is a similar rollercoaster of emotion, the finale is really awesome and always instills in me hope for rebirth
least meme answer: i was performing in an orchestra/choir this past christmas and the conductor wrote a "gloria" interpretation for the show. i didn't have a part in the 2nd movement so i got to sit and listen to it, and in the middle there was this wonderful swell from minor to major that made me tear up every time we performed it. good stuff
>I’m a gay nigga but I still take sausage the post

i thought music was dead, but Ben Frost made me feel
drained
The hell are you talking about?
I remember crying to "Vincent" by Don McLean after a particularly emotionally heavy day. The part where he says "but I could have told you, Vincent, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you" always fucks me up.
Flight of the Navigator by Childish Gambino
The song itself and the memories around it always get me. It's so beautiful and it breaks my heart that donglover will probably never make anything like it again but maybe that's a good thing though
With the abbey road medley. I was going through a lot around that time, and when "Carry That Weight" played, I lost it.
"Running" by No Doubt. I was feeling anxious about losing a bunch of my friends and tears came out of nowhere
Listening to hurt by Johnny cash while on LSD
Richard Dawson's "Beggar". Nothing hits me harder than animals being killed or hurt
teared up driving high as shit in bumfuck yukon listening to two headed boy part 2
This. Totally not kvlt Yea Forums
Yeah this is good
I cried listening to this.
"Up on the Sun" - Meat Puppets
I was going through a bout of insomnia. One night it was 3:00 AM and I still couldn't fall asleep and I was getting really frustrated, so I put on music that would calm me down. "Up on the Sun" usually made me relax and feel a bit happier, but I was so fucked up that night that hearing it just made me cry my eyes out.
I cried while listening to that album during a class.
The song that has made me cry the most is 4th of July by Sufjan
Obviously
lmao imagine not dying to music
She has good taste.
K.D Lang's rendition of Hallelujah. I was incapable of basic human functions after listening to it.
unironically lil peepo
Matpat isn’t worthy. You are. Kill matpat
Ween I dont want it
Used to be with this girl with the most beautiful voice. Known her 11 years but recently got back in touch with her a few months ago. We where both heavy in meth and atarted hanging out, she was dating a cartel heads daughter who was a prostitute with her. One day we where hanging my friend hung himself and she stayed to console me. The next day she decided to leave that life she was living and we where gonna go clean. Didnt exactly work out. She has only one song online thats produced well, another mp3 file floating around from a FB vid of her playing that first night we reconnected face to face in over a decade. I still listen to them, they destroy me inside but its the last I have of those times that remind me of how we where and how I felt shed make it with me beside her.
Not posting anything or saying her name, she still performs live time to time in our old city and maybe one day she'll be posted about here I hope. But those songs will always be the ones that hit me hardest.
Listening to the glow pt 2 at 3am after my gf of 3 years died.
Okay. I’m booking my plane ticket now, user.
Not telling u, you're gonna ruin it.
Last time I cried to music was with this coda... it takes a lot of talent to make me shed manly tears.
I wish you all the best
I threw up in my mouth, you shouldn't even joke about this
Halo theme
i've cried like a bitch with this one and since i left you
this and Ys are the only albums I've ever cried to
Old Town Road (Remix) - Lil Nas X
wow you sound pathetic lmao
Hold on Magnolia
Unrelated to the thread, but I've never listened to Newsom and always wrote her off as a twee singer-songwriter type. Where should I start with her if I generally like more ambitious stuff?
Magnolia - Playboi Carti
Every time I listen to it my brain cracks open and serotonin seeps out
Seriously, the first time I heard ITAOTS I was a mess. And it was great.
I cry a lot to Current 93 now, because of all the contradictory emotions Tibet’s voice and lyrics give to me.
