Albums that make you feel, and I mean really feel something. I'm in need of some music with meaning, heart and artistic expression. Pic related and ITAOTS do it for me

M B V makes me feel more. Much. much more (than Loveless)
Itaots was good but all loveless made me feel was nothing. It’s un-remarkable.
Listen to this. Most emotional record I’ve heard
The sheer vibe they give me is honestly unlike anything I've heard before. I've only recently got into music properly so records like this just blow me away, and have so much emotion over me.
It's an acquired feel for me sometimes to be honest. Something I have to be in the right mindset to enjoy fully. Songs like Come In Alone and Sometimes do it for me late at night in the dead silence when I'm able to fully immerse myself. Gets me every time
but have you heard m b v yet?
With the context and how this album was made, it rips into my soul at the right times
I feel a strong connection to this one (on emotional level). I think i didnt cry listening to this last time like 2 years ago
unironically itaots
blackest bile shreds me
Yes I think it's her best and it makes me feel a lot of things
High key realising both of these albums are just Yea Forumscore. That's why I'm trying to expand my horizons.
debut is indeed her best
I just listened to pic related.
Incredible.
it makes me feel the same way i do when i'm at a gas station at night

Listen to Long Season
Cedric at his most young and emotional. This album production wise is raw and cold sounding, but the instrumentals are fast and full of heat and energy. This contrast makes this album special. It’s a bands potential all balled up and ready to explode
desu the live version hits harder but agreed
Just so painful and depressing album. The vocal delivery is spot on.
Some obvious:
Pink Floyd - Wish you were here
Joy Division - UP & Closer
Placebo - Without You I'm Nothing
Interpol - Turn on the bright lights
Nick Cave - No More Shall we part (all of them actually, though this is the most intense)
The Smiths - Meat is murder
Discharge - Hear nothing, ...
Some metal stuff:
Warning - Watching from a distance
Ulver - Bergtatt
Urfaust - Einsiedler
Burzum - Hvis Lyset...
Bell Witch - Longing
I tend to listen to a lot of music which appeals to me on an intellectual level or based on some constructed atmosphere. When something genuine emotional kicks me, it all feels so fucking pretentious.
OP here. Guess what? Listened to this album the whole way through and cried like a bitch. Thanks user
pic related and George Harrison - All Things Must Pass come to mind
Loveless does it to me every time. It's such an immersive, and intoxicating feeling. I love it like none other. Only a few other songs/albums have a similar effect on me. Off the top of my head:
You can have it all - Yo La Tengo. (although I heard it live and it wasn't nearly as good)
I follow you - Melody's Echo Chamber (only sometimes)
Prince Rama - Top Ten Hits of The End of The World. The only physical record I own. I've heard the album (most songs on it) live a few times and it gets me live too.
Some stuff from Neon Indian's Psychic Chasms (but only sometimes)
sad i've never seen this album on Yea Forums
