The only actually good albums are ITAOTS, MBDTF, TMR, RIL, Pet Sounds, Kid A, Hosianna Mantra, Pink Moon and Illinoise. The rest are either outright bad or inferior works by good artists.

I haven't listened to all of these, but I used to love Trout Mask Replica, fully on the hype train...but listening to it again I am just not with it anymore. It's got some moments but it's also very much abrasive for abrasive's sake so gotta call it.

Hospice would be my runner up, I think first hearing it the themes and how beautifully executed hits you hard. Then you listen again and hear how stripped back and anemic some of the songs are. Doesn't stand up to repeat listens to me.

For me personally, I don't particularly like emo music, and this feels like another one of those generic emo sadboi indie rock albums that this site seems to love to herald. American Football would be my runner up for second worst for that same reason.

all of them are lovely in their own way
