Something pretty silly and fun I've been working on. Think it's my best (in this style) so far.
Will be chilling and listening throughout the evening.

im back, recently made my new best song to date
soundcloud.com
sample heavy, instrumental electronica
the intro is absolutely gorgeous, but it doesnt need the drums in my opinion.
i would keep layering the guitar and introduce a more subtle drum - you have a great ear though
this is cute as heck and produced so well- your voice works really well with it
what are your influences?
Damn, this is fantastic. I love the bassline that comes in, it gives the track some motion when it's otherwise repetitive (not that that's bad).
your ear for samples is great too, this is a real fucking jam, man. Reminds me a lot of Against All Logic.
I was thinking of keeping the drums out of it but it felt repetitive. I played around with the textures of the drums a lot and I wasn't sure myself. I decided to go with them because they add some energy that the track wouldn't have otherwise in my opinion.
(there's already 3-5 guitar parts going at any time :P)
Genuine question do people prefer thread feedback or sc comment feedback cause I prefer having those tasty orange dots appear on my bell but actually curious.
>jazz/rock jam
>rough draft, put up a few days ago
Thanks! I'm really embracing the idea of me singing on my tunes -- I've kind of gotten married to the idea of just writing fun pop/funk songs, so I'm glad you think my voice fits.
As far as influences go, some main ones would be bo en, Maxo, Diveo, ABSRDST, Iglooghost, and Parks Burton. Those ones are most obviously similar in style, but there are a bunch more that I draw influence from. I spent many (many) years in the chipmusic scene, which is why I use the sort of sound palettes that I do -- not because it's reminiscent of "lel xD vidja game music" but because I just like the qualities of the sound. Anyways, glad you like!

Back after 3 years of hiatus, this is a demo of Bathory's A fine Day to Die. I'm about to look for bandmembers to fuel my own project. Looking for feedback regarding vocal textures and technique

Super fun and bubbly production! Your voice, as someone else said, fits it perfectly. Some hints of Jacob Collier, but with more engaging textures. I love how the whole instrumental works together, the mix feels sparse and full at the same time.
nice nice nice.

pretty interesting use of the sample. Quite like the groove of it, and the syncopation on the drums is pretty nice. I would totally jam out to this live.
Really like your stuff dude, underwatr is probably my favorite of yours. After a few listens I'm starting to get some oneohtrix point never vibes from it, i love it
pretty good. nice soft vibe. not a huge fan of the percussive choices.
fresh as hell. love the glitchy sound. nice vocals. well produced. very nice.
this reminds me of tenacious D for some reason lol.
solid mixing. not bad, but not really my style. i like progressive stuff a little more.
trippy. i feel like it could use so more dynamics, and maybe a better song structure. i found it difficult to find a part to grab on to
not a bad mix, but the melodies on this seem off to me. irked my diatonic expecations.

take a listen to my latest and feel free to talk shit back :)
any/all feedback appreciated.
This is me:
This makes me very nostalgic for the summers when I was 16/17, and I think that's what you were going for.

pretty generic instrumentation on this, especially the bass repetition. if this is the best thing you've made yet then lmao
mumblefolk? your voice literally can't follow a note, it's toneless, before you record anything at all you need some voice lessons if that would even help
actually pretty decent, you've got interesting sound across a couple of tracks, I'm just not hearing anything to set you apart from other electronic creators. listen to some of my tracks to hear how I level things to add depth

Folkish, acoustic track, with flutes recorded by my friend, double tracked guitar creating new rhytmic patters that I'm sort of
proud of (especially in the second part), and vocals in a small choir. I borrowed an accordion, and even wrote the lines, but it turns out that learning to play this shit isn't as easy as it seems, and they were scrapped for a single chord in the middle.
Track's in two parts, in 4/4 and 3/4 respectively, with first serving as a sort of a prelude. Some people said that it sounds like folkish Sigur Ros, and some other that it reminded them of The Microphones. These people were very nice. I return all feedback, so hit me up.
Coming back to review in a few hours

wait so now youre not exclusively giving shitty feedback youre just promoting my music for me? this shit is so chill.
Made an album jamming with my volca keys and PO-20. Apart from that, chiptune.
I'm making an album based off of the original Spiderman video game for PS1. Here is my promotional single. Any feedback is appreciated, ty.

I like the voice chops you added. The changeup at 1:05 is glorious, comes in real nice. It's a really creative changeup, did not see it coming at all and it works really well.
Just redid it, any better?
My voice ain't loving the sung parts atm, been out of practise for a bit.
The only song i have ever published, i don't even know what genre it is.
Album I kept saying would be out in the next week or so actually finally is woo

Full raw composition man, polished but not without losing soul. You do got that line between hopeful but also melancholy tones
Love the slow bass progression, bass is the thinking man's instrument.
Commented on this before but hey, good voice for this style, specially your intro.

i like this man, excited for when you start releasing tracks publicly again, the production on them is beautiful.
straight off the bat I like it, crazy to think that was a Drake song, dope build up, solid pay off
Yeah, I think both, but soundcloud > Yea Forums if you're gonna just do one.
This was a pretty fun tune. The arrangement and procuction were cool
This wasn't bad, but I like the original better. Probably just nostalgia though
Not really my style. But your flow was pretty tight. you sound good.

Man love when the drums kick in, you have a great voice, especially distorted. Awesome psych solos as well, sounds perfectly realized. The frogs are a tad out of place tho. Do you have a band? This would be awesome live. Really enjoying I Know as well, your guitar playing is fab. I think this one is more my speed, I'm really liking this man!! Keep the faith!

very nice song bro
My friend, this is fantastic. Everything sounds so professional. Do you work in music?
Not just this song but Love Among The Ruins too. The production is just so fantastically clean. And the verbed out string section in that one, too. Great great great!!
This is immediately super fun! I love the psych guitar texture, it's done really well. My only idea would be somehow adding more character with texture changes or added instrumentation coming in and out. It doesn't really feel like it's going anywhere? It's super relaxing and enjoyable, it just doesn't really keep my attention all the way through.
