I GET UUUUUUUUUUP

THe guitar solos on that track are stellar

I GET DOWNNNNN

Man, this album is so fucking good.
You should listen to Mike Oldfield.

Attached: Tubular Bells.jpg (300x300, 39K)

the first track would be better if it didn’t have that retarded 3 minute organ solo

yeah lol

what other albums does OP enjoy? maybe can make another good suggestion

SEAAAAAAAAAASONS

WILL PASS YOU BY

I FUCKEEED UP
I FUCKEED DOOOWN

listen to supper's ready

More like No

try Zappa Over Nite Sensation and Apostrophe
try Pink Floyd Animals (duh?)
try King Crimson Red

did you try those already? they're in the same feel as close to the edge, same decade etc.

recently The Modern Lovers, The Velvet Underground & Nico, Nevermind, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix and Skiptracing by Mild High Club. Would appreciate any recs and ik these albums are all over the place in terms of sound

I can't hate Yea Forums for introducing me to the Smile Sessions and the Caesar Demos. Also Pharoah Sanders and Moondog now that I think of it. I pretty much rate boards by how much useful stuff I got from it and Yea Forums is pretty high up there.

didn't enjoy King Crimson Red that much when I first heard a while ago, might give another go. Will give the other two a go!

You'll probably enjoy Gentle Giant's self titled album, also what this guy said

youtube.com/watch?v=vFvAlsQ-LwI&list=PLhnRSFPl-xolRWWT24Ym5wIsCCJUvkh5k

Animals and CttE aren’t even close to the same ballpark.

pharoah sanders is kind of a clown, do you now about this arachie schepp recording?
youtube.com/watch?v=akULiolbYFQ

coltrane did it too better than both those guys
youtube.com/watch?v=KncD3ya0B1s

and before that style, this famous clip
youtube.com/watch?v=vFCEHliCwhk

I know what you're saying, but I refer to CttE as Yes's Animals. if that makes any sense..

Thanks for the reccs you pretentious douchebag. At least there is some good in your cunt heart

In that it’s their best album?

Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here and Animals are all equally Pink Floyd's best albums if thats what you mean. If you mean Yes then yes Close To The Edge is their best. Followed by Fragile but it isn't the same sort of epic journey album.

well, i was only posting 70s albums for you, since i think it's important to absorb that 1970s sound that can only be produced on the old analog equipment they were using... they mastered those studios and when the new gear came along the techniques changed.
tl;dr, learn to be able to guess when/where a a track was made based on the production

but the best two King Crimson albums are actually Three of a Perfect Pair, and Discipline. the rest are meh in my opinion.

I meant Animals is PF’s standalone best album.

yeah, no problem. that stuff is all very aggressive. If you want more that very spiritual feel, you need to listen to A Love Supreme, it's the quintessential

If you like that, welcome to the world of St. John Coltrane.

No, in that it's rawish sounding instruments guitars without too many digital effects, but still prog and trippy, where as DSOTM and Fragile seem to use more aggressive sounding timbres. that's why I make the distinction, but feel free to disagree.

forgot to tag you/
Pink Floyds best albums also include Meddle, Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother, Saucerful, and the MOre soundtrack

nah. wywh and dsotm are very much just as good if you aren't a contrarian rymgobbling reviewer circlerjerking faggot.

I don’t consider other peoples’ opinions, I just use my ears.

should be some stuff here you like open.spotify.com/user/frederiklovric/playlist/5U2jh5PzBxxRmNXptvioJe?si=PxflaXOjTK-FxV6rw4xp_Q

Wow this is pretentious as fuck.

he made it when he was 19, give him a break

Lol no it isn’t.

Ayyyyy were you the guy with NLDW and Exmil on your chart? If so I was the one who recommended this to you and I'm glad u liked it

>the best two King Crimson albums are actually Three of a Perfect Pair, and Discipline

Attached: 3s0pffulxo921.jpg (274x451, 31K)

how?

Red and Itcock.

then listen to dsotm again and use them this time. not like dsotm goes hand in hand with being underage.

you're an ass, dsotm is one of the greatest achievements of all time in the music industry.

People really forget that at saurceful they were already kicking ass with One Of These Days

With Saurceful of Secrets*

"not liking dsotm goes hand in hand with being underag"
the only people who DONT like dsotm are underaged retards who don't even understand what its about.

that's the first track off Meddle. Fearless and Pillow of Winds are underrated

I like Dark Side, it’s just not as good as Animals.

DSotM is probably the Pink Floyd album that is most associated with underage kids. It’s likely the first Pink Floyd album they will listen to.

>19
>recorded all the instruments himself

what excuses do you have Yea Forums?

no talent

This is one of the worst opinions I've ever fucking heard.

im tone deaf

>Wow this is pretentious as fuck.
