I feel like you could’ve done something way cooler with the drums with the dope sample you had, was expecting kind of a slower pattern with some more modern sounds. That’s just me tho idk. Also I like your voice! Reminded me of Danny Brown a little.
Good song and mix, vocals are solid for the most part but get a bit out of tune at times, just keep practicing and you’ll be set!
some nice motifs here and there but this leaves me feeling kinda cold. the production is fantastic but this doesnt really feel like it goes anywhere. you should think more about the way you structure this. dope sound though. rec this shit.
personally i think ur whole aesthetic is played out and pretty gay but hey thats just me and i think most people like liluziverttypebeat-anime-lofi-trap but maybe just try to be a little bit original my man its not 2015 anymore
oh 100%. i myself am really baffled on how tf it happened. i posted one of them on this bored in a soundcloud thread. next morning it had thousands of plays then it exploaded and is still getting me over 2000 plays a week just from that one. then i did the same thing with the beat one at 42k, and if you look at the comments you can actually see the comments other Yea Forums users left as feednack from the thread. i dont understand what i did differently but dont sell me too short, i have over 20 beats that have triple digits or more.
Good screams. You sound like Ihsahn if they made an album between Nightside and Anthems. Good guitars for VST too, they usually sound like shit.
This is a bit old now but since you're here I might as well, since it's a Bathory ripoff. soundcloud.com/user-666542552/satanic-batlord Ironically mine has no vocals since I can't sing. Main influence is Total Destruction.
Legit lost it at the track's name ! Feels like a lost track from the Bathory's self titled or "The Return..." album. I can't play guitar for shit but I found some good VSTs mixed with Guitar Rig which elevate the texture to make it as organic as possible. It still sounds somewhat fake, but if I don't tell, most don't even realize.
Thanks for the vocal feedback, I'm a fan of Emperor's early stuff but I despise Ihsahn's vocals. But I truly cannot hold a candle to Quorthon's.

Drums seem a little loud in the mix through my speakers but sounding good
Was checking this out last night, not particularly my type of stuff. Dark. Beat is super catchy
bog sound great energy. Your drummer is really going at it. Clean and tight
art hoe attraction anthem, i like it dawg love this shit i'm not one 2 talk cus my shit is mixed really weirdly n i got the problem but try to have the vocals more clear
shill my shit type beat: soundcloud.com/spicparker/doomguy >rap trap shit >angery musik >beat the shit outta of your neighbor's toad type beat also, thank you guys for helping it grow over 100 plays
thx m8. Yeah the palm muted notes mainly give it away. My instinct is to not have them palm muted and edit them with some envelopes, EQing and other effects, (or maybe one palm muted track and one not palm muted mixed together) but I honestly have no idea. I always had a guitar so I never touched the VST stuff.
I like Nightside the most, but I think his screams got worse the further into his career he got. His cleans got better though. I think your screams before the verse sound just like Quorthon, but the verse is a bit throaty, I guess?
Hey, thanks, that's kind of the idea. Nice and punchy with space for all the instrumentation to come through. It's definitely taken me a while to get to the point where I'm confident enough to make music like this, since things can start to sound awful really quickly unless you know what you're doing once you start to throw as many voices/elements at a song as I like to do.
I mean, it is certainly doable, it would just mean I need to have 1 more track for each guitar. These tracks would have half the distortion but twice the "twang" of the pick. it's worth trying that out. thx !
Luckily enough, I have about 32GB of RAM but I will have to try it out.
All in all, my Soundcloud is mostly as a placeholder/demo shelf for me to found a band. I'm more into Progressive BM à-la-Borknagar/The Kovenant/Arcturus
wow really good, prolly gon have to listen next time i get an ego death >processsions.bandcamp.com/track/dalliance really tight fast post-punk, big fan would just work on drum diversity, or slowing down when needed, its all in your song writing and its really good >elendeleiber.bandcamp.com/album/elende-leiber would crank this, real good abandoned crack house trent music, idk but if the reverb thing is what your going for i would increase the drums more on tracks like Zwang and add more reverb
you can't just use "experimental" to excuse bad messy shit lmao. work on actually crafting something not just throwing shit at the wall and putting out everything that sticks and drips
typical white soundcloud rapper stuff, head it a million times, prod is maybe ok
all your tracks are less than two minutes long, if you don't have enough material to even fill a track you should probably focus on writing and not just putting out shit no one's gonna want to listen to
>politics rap straight cringe, beat is generic too
my stuff

dude why do you hate me so much that you feel the need to impersonate me lmfao

Is this the fake mean guy or is he schizophrenic or sum
Jack Martinez
Really polished and tight sounding house music, well done! Like this song a lot, just wish the melody would go somewhere, gets a little stale, but good beats. Good stuff, it's a little too loud and has a lot of harsh high frequencies that should maybe get looked at, but nice composition.

ljos.bandcamp.com/releases Folkish, acoustic track, with flutes recorded by my friend, double tracked guitar creating new rhytmic patters that I'm sort of proud of (especially in the second part), and vocals in a small choir. I borrowed an accordion, and even wrote the lines, but it turns out that learning to play this shit isn't as easy as it seems, and they were scrapped for a single chord in the middle. Track's in two parts, in 4/4 and 3/4 respectively, with first serving as a sort of a prelude. Some people said that it sounds like folkish Sigur Ros, and some other that it reminded them of The Microphones. These people were very nice. I return all feedback, so hit me up.
I feel like the sounds used themselves were great, but track could use a faster development.
very cool intro, but i wish the drums were a tad less generic.
i feel like you lost a shitton of headroom on bass frequencies that aren't reproduced well on most speakers, because i felt like your track was quiet, but that waveform is fat as fuck. Vocals are real good, but the triple hi hat hit seems way too loud, it's distracting. So to sum up, production value (although pretty interesting, i especially like the hits in right channel) is much behind the raps.
New album, our last one but also our best >power pop >indie >jangle >For fans of Beat Happening, The Pixies, Sebadoh, and Cap'n Jazz popspirit.bandcamp.com/album/brighter-plan
