He’s awesome. The McAuley Schenker Group albums are pretty underrated.

I don't know about the greatest ever, but he did do some amazing solos. I'm A Loser, Love to Love, Rock Bottom....he is an underappreciated talent, for sure, but not he greatest. He is in my top 10, though, and there is not much of a gap between #1 and #10.

Hell yeah. Im listening to a bootleg from that tour right now. They were a great pair, almost better than Barden.

Reasons Love, I'm a Loser, Rock Bottom. I don't think he is the best ever, but those 3 solos are outstanding. He is one of my top 10, and there really isn't much difference between #1 and #10. His solo stuff was also pretty good.

Great album.

>greatest ever

Yeah, I realize these things are subjective but Ive been on such a Schenker kick. My god his tone, vibrato and note selection are other wordly. He puts so much pressure on every note, he plays fast but its so damn tasteful and restrained.

Robin McAuley is one of the greatest singers ever, he’s skilled enough to hold his own without overshadowing Schenker.

What has he done thats relevant outside of Megadeth? Schenker literally wrote the book on neoclassical tinged heavy metal guitar.

He was in Cacophony with Jason Becker.

Op here, you.definetely have my attention. Never seen moore with a strat

this
based awful combover man

He used that strat in Thin Lizzy, I think Scott Gotham has it now. He also had his fiesta red strat he used in the 80’s and his red and white charvels.
