i honestly think NTS sessions is one of the best albums ever made. how the fuck do you make an 8 HOUR long album that never gets tiring and stays consistently exciting and mysterious? its just too fucking good man.

Interestingly enough, by not trying to sound like Autechre. Find a musical genre, which for Autechre was electro and industrial, that you can develop in new and surprising directions.

Run a drum break through a fully wet delay and automate the delay time, resonance, and drive randomly through multiple lfos. Add slow moving icy synths. Run everything through a band pass and fuck with the resonance and frequency
