I work at a CVS and I have often woken up with these songs stuck in my head for the past 5 years.
Genesis - Invisible Touch

Nice. At least it spans a good range of time.
>See my old man's got a problem
>Live with the bottle, that's the way it is
>He says his body's too old for working
>His body's too young, to look like his
>When mama went off and left him
>She wanted more from life than he could give
>I said somebody's got to take care of him
>So I quit school and that's what I did
Source: worked at a Walgreens for 2 years.

I have not heard these songs in like 20 years lmao
Cheesy as fuck but nostalgic for me
I've literally heard this playing there 3 separate times within the past month. It's always midway through at the same point when I walk into the store and it's uncanny as fuck
anything mood media plays over fm-1 unfortunately
Nearly everything here is just early 2000s soft rock. Figures.

>Deli you have a call on line 101
nothing quite captures the exact feeling of buying a basket full of stuff to hide your purchase of laxatives at walgreens like the climb by miley cyrus
Growing up, the local drug store I worked at over the summer outside Pittsburgh had some 5 CD "Today's In-Store Lite Pop" promotional compilation from like 1997 that fed into the loudspeakers.
But they never changed it or upgraded to a satellite service, so it was like 2005 and those same ~100 songs or so would repeat over and over and over every day.
This is about most of what I can remember:

So it was basically either totally generic, wimpy ballads that were just incredibly boring or alt-ish rock/shitty pop that became really irritating by the 30th play
forgot about this one
This whole thread is making me depressed.
Music could place my mind anywhere, but all this does is bring me back to the place I hate the most.
And here I am, listening to it.
girls just wanna have fun i always dance in the store with my gf when i hear it
Once I heard "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" on the radio in a CVS and as soon as it came on the old lady manager started humming and hawing and obviously did not like it, as she rung me up lmao
