I haven't listened to that oM album in a long while, but I remember it being kinda long-winded

>don't have a RYM
Music for this feel

More or less
Some good ideas throughout but it would’ve greatly benefited from being shorter than its 70 minute run time

MVOTC is a personal 9.5/10 but to each their own.

Take it with a grain of salt as I’ve never listened to their older albums (only singles) but I thought it was pretty good.
Opens and ends really well with only maybe a little bit of the middle being something I won’t come back to regularly.

Nothing super revolutionary but for still being a mostly breakbeat album in 2019, it’s very good.
Whatever Spotify is pushing you

Is Ventura really that good ?
Arizona Baby is at least a 7 imo
Go make one

Lol fuck that shit.

Spotify pushes me some pretty appealing music, so I guess I'm feeling pretty good? What does it "push" to you?

>doesn't use rym
>uses spotify
found the casual

not using rym doesn't mean he's a casual by default desu, but no one over 18 has any business using spotify

Respect for violent femmes debut

And yeah it’s VERY close with Malibu for me. Can’t decide which I like like more, and as it stands I already love Malibu.

Between these and Oxnard (8.25/10 for me) he’s easily one of my favorites in the hip-hop/r&b game.
Spotify gives me pretty good, or at least unique, suggestions usually.
But only now that it’s acclimatized to my taste.

Prefer Apple Music though I use both.
Eh using Spotify isn’t bad unless it’s the ONLY thing you’re using

anyone else concerned about RYM permanently banning accounts for giving 5 stars to shit like Chris Chan and Bottoms Up? how long until they start banning people for giving shit like OK Computer and Abbey Road anything other than 5 stars? where does it end?

you first you pretentious bean nigger

Interesting. I've used both Apple Music and Spotify and Apple Music just gave me mainstream classic rock radio junk because I listen to a lot of music from the 60s and 70s, while Spotify has given me stuff like the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band which is far closer to my taste.

don't call me bean nigger

boring

then shut the fuck up if you have nothing to add to the conversation when they're raising a legitimate concern you filthy bean nigger

sorry

he's not raising a legitimate concern you degenerate amerimutt, he did a le epic Yea Forums raiddit and got his ass banned and now he's acting like it's a free speech issue like the 14 year old he is

agree on brain salad surgery
people who give 5 stars to stupid meme albums are retards
rym staff is still gay though

in that case why not just take away their score weight instead of an outright ban? it sets a precedent for a future where users are banned for having dissenting opinions / ratings from the majority

How dare you? :) butseriously, A Storm in Heaven is a near-masterpiece, their best by a mile, hope it'll grow on you

Hmmm.. i wouldn't mind some Lydia Lunch right now, and you got me really interestes in Violent Femmes too, never bothered to check em out for some reason

New Chemical Brothers is great, their best in 15 years. Someday, I'll revisit that Fever Ray album. I wasn't very fond of it on my first listen.
