I need some songwriting tips
I created a nice verse and I'm really proud of it, but I don't know how to fit an exciting chorus to it. What do you guys do to solve this problem?

Try being creative.
this, works for me every time
find another melody you had planned for a different song and put it in the same key, or just go full harvey danger and make it just baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
pictures yourself listening to your song for the first time and think about what you'd love to hear next
Usually the chorus will differ significantly from the verse in tempo, register (usually the highest notes of the song are in the chorus), arrangement (the chorus tends to be the busiest section), etc.
Thank you all
What instrument(s) did you use to compose the verse? Did you solely use a guitar, some other instrument, or what?
Guitar only
use power drills and break glass with your microphone. record it all and throw it into the mix for easy industrial musick. thank me later
