I need to check out more Bob Dylan, I listened to Blood on the Tracks a few times a while back but it never really clicked
not bad!
Not much of a film person but thank you for the rec :)
1989 is a pretty underrated pop album so nice pick
All really solid picks friend :)
Being a genre tourist is so fun though
I've been mostly listening to post-hardcore stuff recently, mostly Chokebore/Unwound/Fugazi stuff. Nice AnCo picks with Strawberry Jam and CHz :)
it is fun being a genre tourist, and theres nothing wrong with it, its just hard to give recs thats all
Not a bad chart, but some organization would help a lot
my path through jazz so far, in the order in which I listened to. I'd say 1/3 of these were recommendations in share threads, 1/3 I found exploring jewtube and 1/3 recommended in chart threads.
I've only listened up to McCoy's Real Tyner, after that it is the records I intent to listen to soon.
This is the first real exploration I ever did in music, as in carefully and consistently listening (and re-listening) to complete records of several different musicians from begin to end.

It's kind of hilarious how you criticize him for only listening to one genre while posting a chart of literally only rock music, with RDJ album on there which is an electronic album that is extremely accepted by the rockist community

Some further recs:
Sonny Sharrock - Ask the Ages
Sonny Criss - Sonny's Dream (Birth of a New Cool)

Whats the name of the album in the bottom left corner? I remember really liking that album a long time ago but I forgot the name of it and haven't listened to it in a long time
Calm down m8, misread your comment to the OP that he should "really listen to more THAN 1 genre" - thought that was really ironic since your chart is almost exclusively rock/pop/folk music with a sole electronic album - RDJ album - that being an electronic album that is wholly accepted by the rockist community. My bad. But there is nothing wrong with diverse tastes.
Np
Glad you dig it man, I've been meaning to check out Fu Manchu, thanks for the rec
DJ Sports - Modern Species, one of my faves
its alright man we all make mistakes
>DJ Sports - Modern Species
Sweet, thanks alot man, this is just as great as I remember it. Do you happen to know any other great stuff thats similar to this? I'm loving this style of music
I'm tired
I've always really admired your chart its very pretty. Hylics is pretty cool
very based
I love this also
In terms of that style of really atmospheric deep/ambient/outsider house, here's some other stuff that scratches the itch for me:
AL-90 - КOД-915913
DJ Seinfeld - Time Spent Away From You
DJ Healer - Nothing to Lose
Leon Vynehall - Music for the Uninvited
Dream 2 Science - S/t
Auscultation - L'étreinte imaginaire
Luomo - Vocalcity
Mr. Fingers - Amnesia
Khotin - Hello World
Agua Re - Welcome to Paradise (Italian Dream House 89 - 93)
Ron Trent - Dance Floor Boogie Delites
Four Tet - New Energy
The Orb - Moonbuilding 2703 AD
You might also want to check out Ross From Friends, I've never gotten too into him but I know he's pretty popular for the style. Also this DJ Boring single, kind of a meme but still a fantastic song youtube.com
alright heres my chart bros
Captain Murphy - Duality
Wow, awesome. Thanks a ton man, you've given me alot to listen to, you're a pretty cool user
honestly you guys could benefit by downsizing the amount of albums on your chart, liking the typical mu stuff is fine, but having an easy to read chart that's more on the throat of what you like is preferable if you're not introducing alot of new albums to the board, in my opinion
+ unwound (based album pick too), duster, grouper, fishmans, slint
- car seat headrest, gybe
+ fishmans, galaxie 500, mbv

Check out little kid, belong and eluvium from my chart
lol thanks but I already have all the Anopheli and Morrow stuff... desu I think The Ache of Want might be the best album Alex CF ever did with anybody, but I keep Owsla 'cuz it's kind of the classic, and it's super strong. The first Morrow album is really good too.
That Angelic Process album is great, and that Lantlos album has been on my to do list for quite a while
haha, it was kinda obvious to rec those two but i should've known better. if you dig angelic process you should check out Nadja. Similar wall of sound-vibe but i guess less melancholic and more drone-y.
lantlos are great, at least the ones with Neige from Alcest.
hm, dunno what else to rec. Maybe Vamipilia, they really took me by surprise (just started listening to their own stuff, just know them fron Nadja collabs)
