I assume most sane people are aware that the MBTI test results don't actually mean anything. Everything's fucken relative! This is just another meme, what's so bad about it?
Have your album queued up, gonna reply in this thread later once I've listened to it
What's so bad about myers briggs, you're not supposed to base your life completely around it, idiot.
are you me
Enjoy, user! Looking forward to hearing what you think
Angry manlet incel. You are probably a KEK on the MBIT. Have sex

The BBC article sums it up pretty well IMO. It's like a buzzfeed quiz made with effort that went sorta viral.

Such a good album, do you like any of toe's other stuff?
1) Very shoegaze-y (just an observation, I don't dislike shoegaze)
2) Reminded me of Dinosaur Jr for some reason (Love Dinosaur Jr. so it's 100% a compliment)
3) Some of the most pleasant sounding guitar riffs I've heard in a while
4) Kinda sad there wasn't much bass. (Bass player myself (heil Kim Gordon))
5) Hard to decide which song I liked the most but I'll go with "Grab It From The Garden". Album ending with an amazing instrumental always does it for me which is also why I find the end of "You're Living All Over Me" sooo disappointing even though I love everything else about the album. Definitely relistening this one later today.
Thanks for posting it
I'm , TRU is my favorite/ most listened to album recently (been getting very into noise rock), but For Long Tomorrow has been an important album to me for so long it's probably my favorite album of all time
Umm, can I ask you to link me your last.fm?
I'm a bit of a toe fanboy, so my opinions is super biased
>Their first album used to be my favorite, but FLT has taken its place
>I ripped the audio from CUT_DVD just so I could listen to it on my phone, but it doesn't have 向こう岸が見る夢 so I ripped their Regent set from YouTube (better than nothing) and added in a live rip of エソテリック just because
>their remix album, That's Another Story, was in my top 10 for last year just because it was really fun
>Hear You is only half good (rapping is weak) and Our Latest Number is aight
>saw them live in September and it's one of my favorite shows ever
so I guess you could say that I do like their other stuff
nice nice, good shit
oh, haha... I actually hate all their stuff that has those weird rapping vocals. I really like their first three albums (including FLT) and the "Future Is Now"-EP
I am not fucking trolling. The problem with MBIT is that at first people just use it and find it funny like in OPs pic. However, after a while it becomes normal and people use such tests to prove their own bullshit (same with IQ tests)
Japanese just sounds weird when it's rapped
future is now is really good, I got it on vinyl from when I saw them live
it's a 10" 45, even though the sleeve claimed it was 33⅓
INFJ
Wish You Were Here
ONLY LOW IQ ESTPs WOULD EVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!!
Just kidding. Why do you care if some brainlet bases their personality around some stupid test results that do nothing but add more labels to our day-to-day lives. Just don't befriend obvious morons and you'll be fine. Call me whatever you want but I honestly think that MOST non-tourists here while toxic as fuck, are actually decent people deep down. And even though the occasional "tits or gtfo" in the middle of a discussion can get somewhat annoying, I still ¨very much enjoy the time I spend here on Yea Forums.
Ooh, the ENVY
Probably should be at least in my top 5 favorite albums
I agree with your observations! Especially about Dinosaur Jr, I think the closer to Bug is a lot more satisfying than You're Living All Over Me. Grab it from the Garden is probably my favorite song from the album too, that and Short Morgan do so well to top the album off.
I never really considered making one, but I just looked into it and making one was easy enough. For some reason I thought it would be more trouble, but it just sits in the background and records what I'm listening to, so I'm game. Link me yours too, I'm user/scampinball. No listening history before today but what can you do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Were you at the NYC show? I saw them last fall too and it was great, so glad I caught them touring in America. Also,
>Hear You is only half good (rapping is weak)
Isn't the rapping only on one song? I think Hear You is underrated.
This is just astrology for incels.
I just followed you, I have the baby seal avatar
Read the thread. You're not adding anything to the conversation...
I don't give a shit about your life stories; Myers-Briggs is astrology for incels.

I somewhat agree. Music aside (sorry) for some people personality test results may vary depending on their mood which just proves how stupid it is to assume that bear any meaning. Although I do actually remember having taken this test one time before and I did get the same result as today which was INFP.
Also I think that Butthole Surfers are an amazing band but why this album in particular?
samefag here and i’m here to say
does anyone even know what this album is anymore
I've just felt it's always been their most musically ambitious album.
tracks like Strangers Die Every Day, Whirling Hall of Knives and Creep in the Cellar show their unique weirdness but also are actually beautiful/great songs. Sea Ferring and Perry have that really fun catchy, jaunty, almost chamber pop like quality to it that BS always excelled at; and American Woman, Waiting For Jimmy To Kick and Mark Says Alright have that great drone-ish hypnotic sound that makes you want to roll your eyes in the back of your head and drum mindlessly for an hour. And if you got the Reissue Bonus you get to enjoy the hard drops in both Moving to Florida AND Tornadoes.
I just think it's the album that encapsulates all of what makes Butthole Surfers so great the best. All their other albums are great in their own right but Rembrandt gets the best of all worlds. It's like its own Greatest Hits album.
