In that case, he means any artists producing metamodernist music. While OP is mildly brainfucked, if you understand metamodernism, then you can answer the question properly, and skip the pedantia.
Pretty much all music from the PC label is metamodernist, especially A.g.Cook and SOPHIE. Charli XCX is weirdly metamodernist for a mainstream pop artist, and as much as I hate to say it, My Teenage Dream ended is pretty metamodern. Imo, twee aesthetics are meta modern by definition, so that would make Time'n'Place era KKB a metamodernist group, as well as all twee music and all music on pic related.
