Because indie rock people want privacy, and rappers love interviews and press and being famous.
Sonic Youth and Nirvana hated on him because the press were constantly irritating and trying to "expose" them. Rappers are treated great because they play the game. Nardwuar seems like a typical paparazzi douchebag if he just follows you and begs you for an interview. A lot of these rappers come to him and either way he is much more well known

There are a lot of TV interviewers who put on a stupid act and their interviews are more about pushing themselves as a media character/celebrity rather than doing a decent interview.
It's easy to assume this guy is one of those people x10
