Motley Crue 8/10
Paramore 7/10
Haley Williams 100/10

It's not that for me necessarily and I do generally like his lyrical writing but I am just not very big on country. Plus lyrics about Alabama politics and especially relating it to the devil and just things I don't care much about. And "A Man Needs A Maid" sounds slightly sexist but I could be taking that wrong. Easily the best song is Old Man.

the clown is very overlooked
maybe people just don't like the spoken word thing

You like basically anything don't you?

Haven’t listened to any of these lol

Yeah it’s one of his best albums imo. The title track is really underrated, the spoken word parts are actually really cool and the middle part is fucking incredible
pretty much, yeah

Hiding Places is amazing, how many times did you listen? Also Go Team are way fucking overrated
>VF 5 stars

patrician. One of the greatest albums ever made. The acoustic bass solo on Please Do Not Go alone makes it a 5. Agree on Oxymoron too. Shame the new single is trash tho
Those Once Loyal is one of my favorite death metal records. The Clown is good but idk about that. Black Saint and Ah Um are both way stronger
Agree on the TV personalities score. It's cool but I find the vocals quite annoying desu
Love me some Horace Silver

Under the Sign is the GOAT black metal album. Overall good rates except I don't think Blind Melon deserves to be that low
>Kool Keith

you heard pic related yet?
Not a big fan of Nippon but Long Season is obviously incredible. Why only 3 for Weyes?

weyes is too forgettable imo

I've seen that opinion a lot, but it couldn't be further from my experience. The wonderful vocals and songwriting keep me coming back. The instrumentation is very beatles/george harrison-esque and it works so well

I've been listening to fuck all lately.

maybe im just a contrarian faggot
but whenever any of these albums come out and get immediately praised by every critic under the sun theyre forgetten pretty damn quick

Buck 65 is great but I haven’t heard that one. Square is an awesome album. Check out Basehead- Play With Toys
Maybe it looks that way with how people get that flavor of the month mentality in the streaming age but a lot of those albums that have gotten that treatment are still actually incredible albums. I get what you’re saying with critics all jerking off over a release then moving on but it doesn’t mean the record isn’t actually wonderful

Sure will I'll check it out. The first one there, with Doseone unironically invents hypnagogic pop on track 9. Probably the earliest example I can find of the genre.

i guess it reminded me of the last thing that i listened to like that which was elizabeth colour wheel
i forgot about it pretty fast

>you heard pic related yet?
yeah but i prefer black elvis. i gotta give it another listen though

I’ll have to try it out
Still need to check them out
I probably prefer Black Elvis too(that’s probably his best) but that one’s great too

yeah theyre great honestly
not sure why i got over it
maybe just listened too much
nocebo was a 4.5

Jordaan Mason album is pretty cool, I haven't listened to in ages though
it used to be all over this board
