No overdrives, it's just EastWest Quantum Leap Symphonic Choirs and Symphonc Orchestra pkaying at unison, passing through a Multiband compressor then Reverb.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, this is exactly what I was going for. It's a little upbeat for Black Metal (in a Major key) but I think the atmosphere makes it epic.

I really like your sound. There's something very nostalgic about the music, but it's unique. Personally I think the vocals are a little obscure and would prefer them to be a little clearer, but that's just me. Window is nice.

this is some intensely chilling production at the start, while these samples of drones and clicks/pops start to glitch to incomprehensibility in minutia there's a nice sense of atmosphere to counteract as the track goes on and it never feels too contrived

you got yrself a good/10

idk about upbeat(sounds cozy to me) but this does experiment with the sound established quite a bit through odd time sigs and synth textures/arrangements

I do wish it went more places but its still good
