It's a shame that few people are shocked by Vince Staples the way this woman was, and that people are making fun of her for criticizing the banalization of violence by Vince Staples
We live in such a world, saying "run up on him, turn a nigga to Spaghettios" on the radio is normal
it's true. Then when a rapper dies people quickly change their opinion about violence in rap culture.

yeah, this music probably shouldn't be on the radio. walked past a kid, probably like 6-8 years old, yesterday and he was blaring suicideboys out of a speaker in his backpack. it was a bit off-putting. back in the day they didn't play death metal on the radio, so kids were at least a little older, in their teens, before they started listening to it.
these days with the internet and everything it's really hard to insulate kids like we used to though. they'll find that shit on their own unless you're a hyper helicopter hawk dictating every minute of screen time
Michael Myers
You just do what Silicone Valley parents do and don't give the kids access to electronics at all.
Thomas Cox
Until they are mature? Also source that they do this at SV?

Based and Christianpilled. (C)rap fans will go about their insane mental gymnastics in order to justify listening to degenerate music like (c)rap.
Jason Kelly

Julian Peterson
She's complaining that even the censored radio version is very violent and explicit.
Aiden Lee

What are you talking about? What happened with Vince? Who is that woman?
Ayden Thomas
Vince Staples doesn’t really banalize violence like other rappers though, that’s actually one of his selling points. He describes the fucked up environment he grew up in without glamourizing it (“fuck gangsta rap”). He doesn’t lament about it either, which makes his attitude come off as a cold “this is just what it is”.
“Brown like the dope daddy shooting in the kitchen” is sad as fuck and there’s nothing banal about it. I do agree it’s not music children should be listening to though.
Josiah Sanders
>Brown like the dope daddy shooting in the kitchen Whats the meaning?
Isaiah Martin
i'm just guessing here but his daddy was shooting dope, or heroin, in the kitchen, which was brown
>he blames rap for violence Right, and violent vidyas influencing the youth are the reason Adam Lanza shot up Sandy Hook
Owen Adams
it goes beyond mere violence user. way beyond
Cameron Cooper
kids literally browse this site but you wouldn't want it censored would you
Carter Price
>every real nigga know the difference ;_; I'm still convinced this video was made by an amature film maker or something. It's just too funny and perfect to be real
Isaac Reyes
Music is influenced by society not the other way around.
Jaxon Parker
not exactly. i'd say "music is influenced by society more than music influences society."
