a regular body you can draw a line between the bottom of both "valleys" and it will be completely vertical

with an offset like in the op pic, if you do the same the line will be diagonal

That's why I made the comparison with oval e-kit. Offsets actually are really ergonomic to hold. Dare I say they're the comfiest guitar ever invented. Holding it just feels natural.

screen one day was getting pink stripes at the bottom.so I'm thinking a connector is loose or some shit
take the whole laptop apart, everything is fine but I break one of the plastic hinges because I wasn't expecting screws there.
turns out screen issue was due to failing of lcd screen matrix - I press down on the corner of the lcd, the stripe goes away. release pressure - it comes back. squeezed it for about a minute and the stripe went away entirely.
put the laptop back together, superglue the broken plastic hinge, put down the laptop on the floor so the weight of the keyboard/body is pressing down on the hinge, put down some electronic scale calibrating weights for good measue. Couple of hours later come back hoping the glue dried, accidentally drop the weights on the screen.

Don't waste money on guitar techs recovering data. All they do is connect the drive externally to a pc and run some shitty cheap recovery software that's available through a google search. There's no magic to it. They're going to do as good a job as the software scan does. Sometimes they don't even need to do that,because people bring in a laptop thinking it died but the hard drive is fine and it's some other component acting up so you end up paying them 60 dollars to just drag a bunch of files from a working hard drive to another.
