Yes, but I'm very biased against them. I always think "why would anyone who creates music not to be listened to actively be a good musician? Why would music you are not supposed to focus on and is usually just made to emphasize on the visual aspects of a movie be anything worthwhile?"
Of course there are great soundtracks, but I can't help but feel prejudice against them.

I watched it for the first time about a month ago. I liked the asuka fight scene and stuff and the ending felt a lot more solid but that section of IRL footage of people in a theatre felt super pretentious

Because I neither watch movies and I don't play games with music on, I usually keep discussion videos / podcasts / own music on in the background while playing video games.
