I like your chart. Do you play guitar? Your chart is covered in interesting guitar work imo
This is very unique user. I don't usually save charts but there are a lot of things on here that seem worth looking into.
Nah, found my passion for rock music not long time ago (maybe like 1.5 year ago, few months being heavy into it) but I'm a big sucker for distortion, layering and interesting sounds (I've been fan of heavy electronic music before), wanna get into bass tho (Peter Steele's distorted bass tone and kinds rhythmic guitar style of playing made me wanna play it).
Damn men, sorry, thought it was (You) instead of (OP) next to your post xD
Oh, glad you liked them.
I can throw some more :)
How about these:
Meat Wave - The Incessant
Swivel Stick - Notes Towards a Mental Breakdown
Traindodge - The Truth
Ed Schrader's Music Beat - Riddles
Snow Ghosts - A Small Murmuration
Maya Jane Coles - Comfort
Kane Ikin - Modern Pressure
Silence Kit - Pieonear
Watter - History of the Future
Yeah, I noticed thanks.
Some stuff I've tried before:
Didn't hit with Radio Dept
And So I Watch... was nice for what it is, but I kinda "figure out" all their shtick and dropped in the middle of the album
Akron/Family, haven't really formed an opinion on them, maybe I need another listen, but they are certainly interesting
Kayo Dot's debut is good, unlike most of the rest of their discography
I haven't heard:
Storm and Stress - saw the name mentioned here and there, but never bothered to check out
Malcolm Middleton - Waxing Gibbous, looks very promising, I'll be listening to that right now
Let me see if I can give some advice to you:
Stars Like Fleas - The Ken Burns Effect
Klô Pelgag - L'étoile thoracique
Moster! - States of Minds
渋さ知らズ [Shibusashirazu] - Shibuboshi (渋星)
Butch Morris - Dust to Dust
Moulettes - Preternatural
Mutestare - A Violet Wind
Nick Nicely - Psychotropia
volcano! - Beautiful Seizure
Radian - On Dark Silent Off
Electric Orange - Misophonia
Edu Lôbo - Edu Lôbo
thanks man, i just spend a lot of time looking into music by myself and i really adore traditional/freak folk genres. youre very welcome to pick through it all and take from it whatever youd like
malcolm middleton didnt do a lot for me, but i was unsure if its just becasue its in a genre i dont care for a lot or if its just alright. i picked it up in a record store because it looked interesting. it was presented as a book and the cd looked like the full moon. was really neat. hope you like it. i think i mightve uploaded it to a sharethread a while back, but i'm unsure.
thanks for the recs, i'll add them to my list!
mid air thief - crumbling

No its not funny (Rimbauded)
Honestly the fact that I've never understood musicc as a communicative medium that lends itself well to tribalistic human rituals like screaming "skrrt" at random intervals or quoting the latest Tegan and Quinn Album probably indicates that I'm somewhere on the autism spectrum (as if this post wasn't already worryingly long and inconsiderate, I sound delusional)
Honestly, it's not funny. (invoke Rimbaud again, go ahead!)
Everytike I listen to Joji while trying to set sick squat PR's the only thing besides trying to fix my thoracic flexion (and failing obviously otherwise I wouldn't be posting here) I think about it is how those hot soccer player Cholo dudes from my kidhood (His parents ate from Oaxaca! You're parents are from Michoacan!) would probably see me bumping Joji in my 2004 Honda Accord 2 Door coupe (which I pay an extra 30 dollars a month in insurance as opposed to the four door whore) would be like: (something that will destroy you)
"You ain't gonna get no bitches listening to music like dat bruh!"
and they weren't wrong.
It's not funny.
