>listen to an album for years
>love it
>later realize my album copy that I downloaded was missing one track that I never listened to
Listen to an album for years
What album was it OP?
stream music instead
Was that track good too?
shouldn't you be happy about this
>listen to album for years
>love it
>finally realize it was a hoax someone on Yea Forums made
>never even realized there were japanese bonus tracks
Siamese dream
>you’ve been listening to the american (stereo) version of a ‘60s british rock album
kek
>listen to an album for years
>love it
>see it has a low score on rym
>realize it was bad all along
>It was Sweet Sweet
Nothing of value was lost here
I don't understand why the MGMT ep's are on Google Music Play I hate that kind of shit I have no idea where to find those now
>buy a physical copy of an album you like
>fucked up order of tracks and some tracks are missing
>listen to an album for years
>love it
>find out for some reason the entire track list was backwards
>have to get used to it the other way
Actually happened to me, for some reason my version of Please Please Me was backwards, I thought Twist And Shout was the first song for years. I still don’t know why it happened and I’ve never heard of anyone else having this issue
>realize album has a deluxe edition with bonus track(s) years later
bitch
what song was it
For years I owned some weird copy of A Rush of Blood to the Head which didn't contain Amsterdam and instead it had 8 tracks from Parachutes.
>buy an album meant to be played at EP speed
>go for years thinking it was supposed to sound pitched down and sludgy
Seriously why is the Soft Bulletin CD so fucked?
you're retarded.
I read in a review at the time they were virtually indistinguishable in sound to their old stuff so when I got it I was so blown away
those aren't canon
you're good
I had this happen with Good News for People Who Love Bad News. Missing track was alright I guess.
Album?
>listen to Only Skin
>one of the lines is 'And there was a silence you took to mean something unsaid'
>that delivery
>that line
>I love that line
>turns out I misheard it
those numbers
Just for a frame of reference, this would happen with iTunes too.
I used to buy music from iTunes quite a lot in the past and there were tracks missing from some and I wouldn't realize til I checked wikipedia. The worse offense was an album where the first track was partially cut off and then because of that every track bled into the previous (track 3 would actually start at the end of 2). It was like that for every song too.
GEEK USA
my life
wtf that song is awesome, a great loss indeed
I did this with pic related. I thought it fucking ended at you can have it all.
>listen to an album for years
>decide to just delete that one song that doesn't really fit and you rather dislike
>still distribute it online
happened to my brother with beards wives denim
Wow, thanks to this post I am now aware of the song slow motion.
You're an npc
It happened to me to. I was listening to a=my favourite Guided by Voices record for a year, and the song order was messed up. I listened to it in the correct order it was not as good. The order of the songs matters.
>Listen to an album twice a week for three months.
>Realize the A and B sides should be switched and it was just a misprint.
>the flow is fucked
