This is what people are talking about when they complain about quotes being taken out of context. It's also worth noting that the editor and not the articles author is the one that picks the headline. It really is just clickbait but most people won't ever get passed their initial reaction to the headline. When you read the quote in the context of the article it comes off completely differently than when you take the quote away from the bigger context.

The making people mad thing is all about how pissed a lot of fans were for her playing with pop. Anyone remember the backlash when Realiti dropped?!

But the culturedmag piece (which was totally not a hit piece, the interviewer seems to quite like her) is unclear. Is the album crap because people misunderstood it? Did people misunderstand it because it was crap?
Like it or not, on some level she believes that it is crap, or she wouldn’t have said that. Because she listened to it and visions back-to-back? Because she had moved on as an artist?

It's still kind of unclear in the article yeah, but since we've seen some of her other reactions about AA it's not so hard to see what she means. I wouldn't be surprised if she regrets doing it at all even if she loves the album herself just because of the reaction to it and being treated like a pop star.
