Sorry for spamming the same song I just got it back from my mixing guy so it's hopefully better. More coming soon Also trying out submithub haven't heard anything back yet
>Also trying out submithub haven't heard anything back yet Stupid question - has this platorf worked for anybody in a long run? Been thinking about posting there but it feels like they can reject you based on some silly premise and they seems to be overwhelmed by the number of tracks there
Parker Sanchez
I think blogs are outdated no one reads them I just felt it was worth a shot for $10. I don't really expect much from it I'm just submitting for the feedback they give
Haven't heard you yet, as far as I remember, so I gave you a shot. Music which is totally not for me but hooked me with a really nice approach, tension and mixing. Pretty good stuff anyhow, keep it up :)
listened to your latest tracks, really enjoyed the sax samples, very chill stuff my man southeast is truly beautiful, reminds me of Steve roach but with extra emphasis on the field recordings really goddamn smooth, very classic shit but undoubtedly modern as well
i listened to "driftwood" great track, super atmospheric, film score like. i thought the mixing was a bit harsh, that sound could be even softer. i really liked this one a lot. all of your songs would benefit from a less harsh mix imho i'm not that much into hip hop anymore these days, but nevertheless this was a very smooth track that makes me wanna reach for the whiskey. well done. cool punk sound. the not giving a shit attitude comes over very nicely, i just wish you sounded slightly less nasal.
A long track, if you don’t have the patience or the time, at least listen to the first 3-4 minutes (the part where I sing)
>like a symphony, but instead of horns and reeds, it’s noisy/overdriven synths and samples >w/ vocal + lyrics (contains probably my second best performance to date) >world >sound collage >dark ambient
Im not good at mixing, any tips and feedback would really help me

Your production was a bit messy but overall it was a decent track and had nice vocals Not sure if it was for me but I gave it a listen. Idk if I’m someone to talk on a song like this ahaha I really liked it. Nice bop song
I really like this track. Intro is a bit long though
Joshua Harris
it's basically making music for my own entertainment, yeah. still, in my mind i am competing with my favorite musicians ; )
i listened to the whole thing - wild! your singing voice is fantastic. the noisy synth with the jangly sounds captures a kind of inner turmoil really well. i like it in the end when it gets kind of Wagneresque, like a pagan ritual being performed. get some postmodern dancers, put on a show - profit!

Made this today while trying to get myself out of a funk. >electronic >moody >textured >comfy
rec Listened to a couple tracks, but loved lulu for sure. The way the track progresses really keeps you on your toes and that banjo(?) near the end was precious. The track is clean but, I'm super curious how you get that old production sound.
great track, makes me want to move! reminds me of a mixture of justice, ratatat and golden age daft punk
Benjamin Anderson
Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback guys, I got alot more shit coming, been saving up a ton of beats to release, thought I'd give this as a little teaser.
Daniel Gonzalez
I really like this track. Many different elements
Grayson Barnes
sounds like the music of a depressed person - unresolved to the point of anxiety. you keep the listener hanging. with some kind of harmonic resolution it could be a cool track, the sounds are high quality.
Parker Sullivan
thank you! They are huge influences.
Dylan Garcia
Thanks dude!
>unresolved to the point of anxiety That's what I was going for. I kinda wanted to have the feel of disorder only anchored by the low synth that started the song. It's a messy cycle, but I hoped to convey the break down in the middle as a small but necessary breather.
Jeremiah Perez
i think you may be rationalizing not being able to resolve the melody in a satisfying way tho. it just gets monotonous after a while. just my opinion of course.
Robert Baker
If you think it's monotonous that's valid. One of my drafts had it just ending before I broke down some of the elements. I experimented with some pitch changes and adding an 808 that slowly drowns out the synth to end the song, but I thought it cluttered the idea. Thanks for the feedback though!
