SAF was the first cd I listened to in my first car. I bought it in chicago and never drove in the city before. it was a fun drive, zipping around in my kia rio blasting this shit. it shook the whole car

A: Pure poseurs. An act. They're simply doing what The Fall were doing back in '82, '83. We're five years ahead of them. Big Black, now they all dress the same and play in front of about 300 people in every city and it's always the same crowd. Everyone looks and dresses the same. The Fall are playing crowds twice that size and it's people of all different ages, genders, backgrounds. Our last US tour was fantastic. We've done American tours before where you were lucky to come out alive. The press won't have anything to do with us. Rolling Stone have never covered The Fall, but they'll happily praise all the bands, American and English, that we influenced. And the critics, I'm no ageist or anything, but some of these guys are like 45. They're still talking about John Lennon. When I was 19, I couldn't have cared less about that.

Why the fuck does everybody do this when Big Black is brought up? Why do you all feel such a strong urge to claim that you feel Atomizer is the better album? Every single time.

It is better. Songs About Fucking is the tourist album of Big Black.

The riff on Kerosene makes me orgasm and nothing on SAF comes close, ironically

Atomizer sounds like a limp dick in comparison

I find kerosene to be one of their most boring, overrated songs
that and jordan minnesota have his kind of gross self-indulgence that ruin atomizer for me, they tightened up their act for SAF and it's a huge improvement. I don't need to hear Steve say "Suck Daddy" 100 times in a row, I get it, move on to the next idea. But I guess some people here feel differently.
