so what you feeling

You have a really good voice, and the recording equipment is really good. I've been listening to a ton of Hank Williams recently, so maybe that's biasing me, but this sounds great in every way
Nice voice and nice playing. Obviously the mixing isn't great (the instrument drowns out the vocals a ton), but everything in this thread is made quick as fuck. This is Wilco Pot Kettle Black right?
I wish it were a bit longer. It's kinda soothing
What song is this? No searches have found anything! Also, is this played on an electric guitar not plugged it?
Nice playing, I wish this one was a bit longer too
Just responding cause I'm responding to everyone, this is me
that tonight's gonna be a good night

This is really really nice, do you have an irl guitar teacher or do you use books/watch stuff online? If it's the latter can you link me to stuff? Cause I can't play for shit

You're really good but your guitar is just slightly out of tune and it's driving me crazy lol

Pretty shit the nearest instrument was my dad's acoustic which I'm not used to.

Oh well

I am self taught
youtube really works

this gives me hope

If it was never new and it never gets old then it's a folk song.

My man. Sounds good. I was going to post a folk song myself but with crappy acoustics and a cheap microphone, I just can't get it to sound right. Too bad.

thanks man, it's pot kettle black by wilco

good playing btw, rip kurt
thanks man, not just for me but for everyone. rarely people contribute to these threads so to give everyone feedback is pretty cool. and yeah it's pot kettle black, the guitar drowns the vocals on purpose haha (i'm not a very good singer)

something tells me you replied to the wrong post

and good guitar, that's a tough range to sing in, you hit the notes but it might be better if you played in a lower key

>vocaroo.com/i/s1tSAwSL0gEH
you've got a good voice but you should play around with the words a little bit. Dinks song was meant to be personalized and if you don't mind me saying, you sound a lot like oscar isaac

Thanks, and yeah I was more just trying to do Isaac's version specifically. Maybe I'm just a pleb but I honestly think he might have the best take on it. I mean obviously it's ridiculous to compare him to the likes of Van Ronk, Jack Elliott or Pete Seeger but idk the fact that a contemporary take on a folk song could actually sound as good and sincere as his has always really impressed me.

I would, but my family is sleeping.
