i went to a Yea Forums meetup back in 2011 and it was as you'd expect. lots of weirdos but a ton of girls. i still keep in touch with a few to this day.
What percentage of the girls were above average in looks? Genuinely curious.

they were all about 5/10s. i was only 20 at the time so I didnt partake in the drinking and hookups. yes there were a few sperg guys and girls but for the most part everyone got along and had a good time despite only meeting for the first time in person

this was in columbus oh. remember this was also 2011, "old" Yea Forums culture. before incels, memes, autists, lonelyposters, and ironic depression were things.

people were more thickskinned overall but i think this is more a shift in culture overall and not necessarily just Yea Forums getting worse.

posting some more images i have from my 2009-2011 Yea Forums folder. i had so many images i just started sorting them into yearly folders to keep it organized. you can really see a shift in culture from one folder the next as you get closer to today's year
